crossover_chick: gif with Doc and Marty trying to get out of being written into twisted AUs (Default)
Who wield deadly hair dryers! (I actually have a joke headcanon that George is afraid of those because of that night.) At any rate, Marty showing up in the middle of the night in full radiation gear convinces George that he really ought to ask Lorraine out (after he wakes up from the chloroform, anyway). Marty does his best to help out, but when Biff shows up on the scene, well -- all he can do is punch the guy, invent the skateboard, narrowly avoid getting run over, then get Biff and his cronies to slam right into a truck full of manure. Awesome stuff -- too awesome, in fact, as it gets Lorraine to follow Marty to Doc's place to ask him out. Uh-oh. Fortunately we have Doc being Doc-awesome to brighten our days, building not-to-scale surprisingly-accurate models out of ketchup bottles and the like, setting toy cars on fire via electrical shock, and having absolutely priceless facial expressions. XD

Been Vidya Sunday over this way -- I had a lot of stuff to catch up on from more or less "missing" Saturday. Here's the low-down:

-->Linkara -- Secret Origins Month, starting with Green Arrow. Have discovered the Golden Age version was kind of a dick who hates windows.

-->Nostalgic Critic -- Hocus Pocus review that was shockingly clipless! I guess because he already did his thoughts on it back in a Disneycember, but it was a bit weird. Good skits though, focusing on how the movie was full of 90s cliches but is still fun to watch, and I liked the cameo from 90's Kid. XD

-->Helloween -- Look at the game "Statues." Hells doesn't think it particularly scary yet, though he admits he's not much into "stuff getting into your face" games (part of the reason I like him, I loathe that too). And to me, the location of the game makes no sense given the title and the main gameplay mechanic -- staring at things so they don't move and follow you. You'd think it's set in an art gallery, right? But no, it's in a hospital, and the baddie Hells showed off is a skinless chap. Who might be an anatomical model, granted, but still. Meh.

-->Helloween -- SOMA LP. Hells has defeated his greatest nemesis, ladders, but still can't quite get a hold of sneaky-sneak to avoid monsters. Fortunately, he has not yet died again. Plot is slowly moving forward, though I suspect our datachip "friend" is going to turn out to be a villain of some description. Also, I still hate blurry-vision as a "low health" indicator. LET US SEE THE DAMN GAME CREATORS.

-->Helloween -- RE2: Revelations LP. Zombie-killin', hard girl, and invisible fly monsters. All the ingredients for a party! XD Favorite moment was when Helloween exploded some regular zombies and got two of the invisible flies without meaning to. And promptly had a mild freakout about it because the flies are his most hated enemy. XD

So yeah, that was fun. Also managed to start the "Citizen Brown" episode of the Telltale BTTF Game. Marty is currently in freaked-out mode, having explored the town square thoroughly, talked to brainwashed Biff, and tried to make nice with Jennifer. Gonna pick back up with her next week. Didn't get much writing in, admittedly, but I did edit up a friend's birthday present, so that was nice. And I should still be on track to get out the latest chapter of "Forgetting You" this Friday.

Right now, though, I've just completed a "I had a little extra time this evening so everyone gets one RP reply" round on my tumblrs, so it's time to set up the queues, answer DW stuff, and then hit the sheets! Night all!
