Better Today
Dec. 15th, 2015 10:06 pmMore awake, at any rate -- felt good to get an actual night's sleep again after the hell of Sunday into Monday. Hopefully I can keep up the streak and let that incident become just a faded memory. . .
Not too much to say about today -- sunny out, and would have been warm if it hadn't been so windy! Still above average for December though, and I will take it. After the snowpocalypse that marked the beginning of the year, I'd prefer to keep what warm weather we got for as long as possible. Mom and Dad decided to take advantage of it by going to the Cape for her two days off -- they're staying overnight and will meet me tomorrow night at the bus. Took advantage of the opportunity to watch Linkara with supper -- where he reviewed, of all things, a zombie apocalypse-themed version of A Christmas Carol. Which I am actually kind of enjoying. It's rather strange and silly, but I like how they've kind of tied the whole "zombie" thing into the actual theme of the book. Rather reminiscent of Pride and Prejudice and Zombies in that way. Looking forward to the second part this upcoming Monday.
Other than that, just doing my queues and getting another gift drabble out of my system (yours this time, Gigs -- hopefully you'll find it amusing!). Gonna do DW replies in a minute, then hit the Vale for one last iceberry gather and then hit the sheets. Making a concerted effort to get to bed earlier these days. I've been probably getting too little sleep for a while now. I turn 29 this year -- hate to say it, but it's time for a REAL sleep schedule. We'll see how well it actually works out. For now, though, g'night!
