Sort-of-Stressful Work Day

Had to do something for the latest CAP mailing that ended up taking far longer than I hoped -- why are there so many people with the same name in this world? Ugh. . . At least I should be able to finish it up pretty quickly tomorrow morning. I hope, anyway -- gotta get this thing done so they can get mailing.

I did get a nice free lunch today, at least -- appreciation luncheon for those of us working on the CAP project. Sandwiches, fruit, salad, and cookies from Corner Bakery Cafe. I had a chicken salad sandwich, a bag of chips, some fruit, a small M&M cookie and a small brownie wedge. All very yummy -- CBC does good food. :) I also got my picture in the little newspaper the Diocese puts out, since this week it featured something on CAP and the launch party. Mom and Dad were suitably impressed, which was nice.

Here at home, it's mainly been about getting queues ready and trying to write a bit more -- which I did, got Moose's fic all set. Feel like I'm struggling with ideas for some of the others, though. Thinking either tomorrow or Friday I might make a post on tumblr asking for help from those people whom I want to write a little something for. Want to make sure I get everyone -- and get them all something they'll like!

Anyway -- busy day was busy, but fortunately I don't have a lot of DW stuff atm. And tomorrow I'll get out early, so that's nice. Maybe get some time on the elliptical, definitely take advantage of it for getting up the last "Forgetting You" chapter. Right now, though, it's time to wrap things up for the day. Night!
