More Adventures In Mailings

Including tracking down whether or not a certain street exists (yes, but it appears to be an industrial/office area now instead of a residential one), and trying to figure out who exactly let us down (the people who found our addresses? The people who mailed the stuff? The post office?). This whole thing has been a mountain of evil frustration, and I'm hoping we can leave it in the past sooner rather than later. Not how I wanted to start off my new year.

What is nice about 2016? Starting We Don't Need Roads, the behind-the-scenes book on the BTTF trilogy! Some of this is stuff I've heard before, but there's some interesting new tidbits added, including:

-->Eric Stoltz was apparently into method acting while in BTTF and refused to answer to anything but "Marty" on-set

-->Eric actually HURT Tom Wilson shoving him in that one cafeteria scene -- Tom was planning revenge in the parking lot scene, but Eric was let go before they even got there

-->One of the guys who helped design and make the DeLorean into a time machine, Michael Scheffe, got the job after going around with the original visual effects supervisor, Mike Fink, looking for potential parts and just shooting the shit with a friend. A few days later, Fink gets an offer for another movie and offers Scheffe his old job, figuring he'd be perfect for it. XD

-->CHRISTOPHER LLOYD IS AFRAID OF HEIGHTS -- and was actually the one crawling all over the clock tower in most of the finale. His stunt double took over for the iconic "sliding down the wire" stunt, but apparently the rest is all Chris.

-->The guy who animated the iconic lightning bolt doesn't believe it's his best work (we are always our own worst critics)

I'm up to Chapter 4 now, and looking forward to anything new popping up about the Enchantment Under The Sea dance. :D
