Jan. 18th, 2016 11:01 pmThough less than I thought -- the Popeye episode I needed to catch up on was 20 minutes of the sailor's origin story (done rather amusingly, if with some unfortunate racism), and the Onstar Batman comic of today was five pages and thus 12 minutes! Linkara needed the extra time to refilm his Bloodgunn review, you see. Still, both were funny, and I don't regret doing a double feature. :)
Other notables of the day:
-->Helped Dad make a spreadsheet for stuff related to taxes -- impressed him a lot with the fill handle for moving formulas over to an adjacent cell. I love it when I can teach people things. :)
-->Rewrote some of the beginning of Chapter 4 of "Remembering You" -- I apparently forgot in the earliest draft that people would actually READ THE ARTICLE IN THE "ILLUSTRATED." Though to be fair, I also didn't have a reporter show up looking for an interview with Alice directly when I first started, so. . . Well, mistakes are being fixed, and I'm looking forward to a stronger story because of it.
-->Played Newcrest Emmett's first day at work -- was stunned to realize there's an employee break room and gym on the second floor of the lab! When the hell did that get put in?? How did I miss it the -- well, I know how, I never went up there. Well, at least now Emmett has someplace to go when he needs a sandwich. He's already made Assistant Inventor, so that's a nice thing to happen. :) Active careers are fun, everyone.
-->Did a lot of messing around on the Not Always sites -- not sure why, I guess that's just where my brain was. *shrug* It was fun to catch up on the stories, at least.
-->Got all my owed tags set up -- hooray for queues, and having enough free time at night to take care of a long message!
-->Supposed to be COLD AS FUCK tomorrow. It would have minus-degree windchills the day I go back to work, ugh. . .
And now I really need to hit the sack. . .though I think I'll sneak in one CB clip beforehand. Night all!
