Euuuurggh. . .
Jan. 20th, 2016 10:50 pm*puts head in hands* Someone explain to me why I felt the need to make a list of fifty Valice AUs for my tumblr queue tomorrow -- and then try to explain the basics of each one. I mean, really, Vic, you should KNOW better. . .at least I got the damn list done. (And yes, FIFTY. I came up with FIFTY AUs featuring Valice in some way (although at least one is in on a technicality -- I'll link to it later and explain).)
Work was busy, trying to get bunches of stuff done -- have to add class years to some schools's cleaned-up data lists, so that's loads of fun. Also, we have a potential snowpocalypse threatening, except nobody can tell if it's gonna be one or not. If it goes one way, we could be downright buried in snow. If it goes another, it'll be an inch or less, or maybe even just rain. I really wish we knew one way or the other. I dun like uncertainty, especially about this.
Finished up the "You're George McFly" chapter of We Don't Need Roads. Suggested Subtitle: "In Which Everyone is a Dick to Jeffery Weissman." Seriously, I feel bad for the guy -- not only did he have to do the whole upside-down thing, he also didn't even get proper facial appliances to look like George, and Lea Thompson couldn't be bothered to remember his name. Admittedly, it looks like he did fuck up talking to Crispin later, since Crispin used some comments he made as fuel for his lawsuit over his image in Part II, but still. Part II's my favorite of the trilogy, so Jeffery's actually more my George than Crispin, and Jeff's the one I met at the DeLorean Car Show, so. . .yeah. And now I'm moving into the whole "nearly killed a stunt double with the courthouse hoverboard crash" story and -- well, it sounds like the set of BTTF II was not a fun place to film. *sad*
Anyway -- I have some FF.net PMs to take care of, then bed. At least I can be sure I won't be running out of things to talk about on Thursdays on my tumblr anytime soon. . .
