It's the Weekend, Yaaaay
Jan. 29th, 2016 11:39 pmAnd Mom already did the vacuuming, so I don't have to, yaaaay~ Though I still need to get my bus pass. And fill out an application for a credit card (need to build up my credit since we're thinking of buying a house together).
Work today was pretty damn boring -- a lot of "copy this into here, copy that there, and repeat" to update a bunch of records. Bleeeh. Still, they can't all be winners, I suppose. And it's bringing me one step closer to having one of my CAP projects (an updated list of a certain school's alumni) done, so yeah, all worth it in the end. I hope, anyway. I've got to get pledge billing done as well on Monday. . .obviously I need a to-do list.
The Gathering of Roses has already moved into "double time" -- we'll see if I can max a few times this weekend. Also, it appears I have unfairly slandered Backflip's latest game -- upon playing it again, it doesn't look like you lose roses at all. What I thought was a "minus something" looks like a "plus two" on closer examination. Well good -- I wasn't really that committed to being mad at them. Besides, they've used up their evil quota on locking away certain prize sections until you have enough of the previous prizes. Bleeeh. . .
More rewriting on "Remembering You" earlier -- Alice and Victoria's tea together is taking a very different spin now that I've covered a lot of what they talked about the first time earlier in the visit. I prefer it, though -- they feel a bit more real this time around. Things are going a lot smoother this time around with the story, I think. I very much appreciate it.
Update on the corpse lady Nebbychan drew the other day: Name has been decided as Michelle, backstory has been decided as Victor's biological mother and William's first wife, poisoned by Nell so she could marry the up-and-coming fish merchant and thus be rich if not titled. Yeah, we bond a lot over our hatred of Victor's mum. . . It has also sparked a Cinderella AU in her, and rereading the Girl Genius version in me, so that's fun. XD
All right, and I seem to be all caught up with tumblr tags for the nonce -- time to empty out my e-mail inbox with FF.net messages and DW tags. Night all!
