In a Squee-y Mood

Nothing like playing Sims 4 and having your OTP have a very successful date to get you feeling good. :) There was a slight hiccup at first when Victor tried to get flirty when Alice wasn't in the mood, but they soon got past that and had a lovely date at the local museum. Much flirty interaction was had -- holding and kissing hands, complimenting each other's appearances, blowing kisses, telling dirty jokes. . .they also had their first kiss together, and decided to go steady! So not only did they get a gold medal for their date, they're also officially boyfriend and girlfriend. I am pleased. :D I let Victor have a second gardening box as a result -- he's growing roses, parsley, and mushrooms in that one. I also discovered the reason Alice only sleeps in her lingerie is because I forgot to give her another sleep outfit -- whoops. XD Have to correct that when I'm back at their house.

Been a pretty nice Saturday overall, really -- there was vacuuming to be done, sure, but after that:

-->I had lunch with Linkara reviewing the first five episodes of a PIRATE SENTAI SERIES -- aka what inspired Power Rangers Super Megaforce. It is -- weeeeird, but in a good way. The excellent goofy-weird that you'd expect from something related to Power Rangers. And Linkara was funny as always.

-->E-mailed BTTF.com about my ripped comic -- the guy is sending out a replacement on Monday, w00.

-->Caught up with Helloween's LP of Drakenguard 3's DLC -- we're into the Lady One stuff now. One seems to genuinely want to make the world a better place, but she's still creepy as fuck. Especially with the whole "making an opposite-sex clone of herself from a rib Adam-and-Eve-style" business. Yes, more weirdness, but of the "ah ah the world is ending aaaaah" variety, since, well, Drakenguard.

-->Wrote some more on "Remembering You," got up to the nice moment where Victor (out of pure frustration) manages to refuse a direct order (which earlier chapters have shown to be a problem for him). Alice and Victor are both thrilled, of course. :)

-->Watched "Zero Punctuation" with my dessert -- Yahtzee tearing down a couple of what he calls "walking simulators." The first sounds like it could be pretty interesting, even if it ended badly; the second sounds like a dull collection of jumpscares. But hearing him smack them against each other in "battle" was nice.
