Ahhhhhhhhh~
Mar. 19th, 2016 10:08 pmFeeling much better today -- got nine hours of sleep, more or less, and considering I've been getting around six all week, that's a nice reversal. Stuff I have done today:
-->Watched Ted Kord's section of the Blue Beetle legacy via Linkara (interesting stuff, though the guy's characterization got kind of shit on near the end)
-->Watched the Nostalgia Critic commenting on how different the Mask comic book is from the movie (if you haven't seen it -- VERY; if they'd gone with straight-adapting the comic, the movie would firmly be in the horror/gore-porn genre)
-->And watched Helloween playing some more Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water (which actually managed some genuinely spooky shit even as it once again confirmed the main male character in this game is kind of useless).
-->Found some cool new music by Halsey in getting up my Song Saturday ("Control," as suggested to me last night by one of my RP partners, Liz, and "Strange Love," which I might put up next Saturday)
-->Wrote the big fight scene that dominates most of Chapter 9 of "Remembering You," when a couple of Bumby's old associates come to call. Victor actually gets in a few more hits than I originally thought he would -- though I still have to write his big moment. . .
-->Played a little Portal -- very little, as I'm kind of stuck on the current test. I've cleared the area of turrets, and I can tell it involves the flingings, but I'm honestly not sure where to go. Looks like this one is going to require more help from YouTube. (At least I've only needed said help twice so far!)
-->Just maxed out my Legendary Eggs in DragonVale for another night, so I went ahead and got the first Chrysalis dragon! I'll be using him to breed with later and try and get the other dragons -- we'll see how it goes. Also see how getting Monolith Six goes -- no luck yet, but I've got all my current Monoliths on the case, so. . .
And my current project? Catching up with my RP tumblrs. I've got dashes to read and replies to at least queue if I don't actually answer them right away tonight, so lemme get on that. Night all!
