Interruptions Sunday
Mar. 20th, 2016 10:26 pmAKA it took me longer than expected to get through the already long Helloween "Let's Revisit Call of Cthulhu" sets because I kept getting called away from the computer (also once because I wanted to reblog something on tumblr). First it was to help Mom with the grocery shopping (she and Dad are both sick, by the by, what fun), and then for actual suppertime (chicken noodle soup -- irony?). But I got through it all -- enjoying the LP so far! It's decently spooky/unnerving, I like the little sanity effects Jack has, and Helloween's fuckups are always so amusing. XD
Other things which have happened today:
-->Finished up the fight scene in Chapter 9 of "Remembering You" -- now the police come in to drag the miscreants away, and Alice and Victor get patched up because they didn't get through this completely unscathed. But still, they certainly put paid to the assholes and no mistake. Go Valice :D
-->Played Sims 4 -- it LOOKED like my computer had frozen again for a minute when I tried to open Origin, but I left it alone to wash my breakfast dishes and when I came back it had opened, so yay. Marty and Jennifer's house today -- I had them throw a house party! Got a Silver-tier reward (new couch!) and learned one of Marty's friends is a hidden alien! Cooool. :D Also started Marty and Jennifer flirting, though their attempts at sweet talk go awry as often as they hit. Hmm -- romance may be a little more difficult than I first imagined. I'll keep at it, though.
-->Got the first column of Winter Bingo prompts Card Four up on my site. Feels very appropriate since we're expecting snow tomorrow. Yes, just started spring and we're getting a nasty winter storm. A lot of places have closed, and my own work is on a 1 1/2 hour delay at the moment. I'm keeping an eye on it in case it changes to "no work whatsoever." I'll take a shortened work day though -- work's been muy stressful lately, and shortening an already short week sounds very nice. Ahhh. . .
And now, of course, is RP catch-up times, which I intend to finish earlier than I have been -- and fortunately, tumblr queues are already looking a bit quieter. Good. Still got DW stuff to finish, though, so let me get on that. Later all!
