Trying to Catch Up, But Something Always Happens

Something in this case being a phone call to find a missing check and another e-mail from a school requesting their data. At least the latter goes a little faster these days. . .still, that took up my morning. I did manage to put a dent in the maintenance this afternoon, but the 4-4 file is so freaking big. . .and there's always new stuff coming in. I occasionally feel like a hamster on a wheel. Just have to remind myself that it won't last forever. . .and that I do plan to use some vacation this summer once we get past the worst of it. Having some time off to look forward to really helps. (Reasons why I'm planning on a personal day end of next week.)

"Remembering You" continues apace -- fight scenes continue to be a bit tricky for me, but things are going pretty well regardless. Not up to the big new moment I came up with, but we're getting there! Very proud of myself for getting this one done so quickly. I only hope the editing doesn't take five million years. . . We'll see, I suppose.

Nothing much else to report, really. Friend's using tumblr messaging for a chat, so I'm kinda distracted by that. . . Forgotten Vows's wedding did successfully start, though. That makes me happy. :D And I've got other stuff drafted out, and Butterfly Boy's in a lull so I can get away with skipping him for a night (might try to make it up on his day, Sunday) -- so I guess I'm in a good place for a Friday. Back to the grind, so to speak! Night all!
