Me: *starting work on today's chunk of "Remembering You," with Victor starting on the wall with the Hobby Horse* Man, I hope this goes well. . .can I really make someone repeatedly hitting a wall exciting?
Me: *PROCEEDS TO WRITE A SCENE WHERE VICTOR RELENTLESSLY PLOWS HIS WAY THROUGH THAT WALL LIKE A HUMAN DRILL, IS NEARLY TAKEN AND CONQUERED AGAIN, THEN PROVES HIMSELF THE MOST BAD-ASS MOTHERFUCKER TO WALK WHITECHAPEL*
Me: *genuinely worn out from the feels* Apparently I can. . .
Yeah, uh, I'm very happy with today's work on "Remembering You." About two hours of writing -- I struggled a little at the beginning, but then I got in the zone and WOW. I honestly think it's some of my best work since Victor's breaking in "Forgetting You" -- possibly because it contains explicit references and imagery to that creepy piece of creepy. Except this time Victor is totally and unabashedly AWESOME. :D This also led to realize that this piece is going to be twelve chapters, because Victor vs the wall has to be a chapter all on its own. Chapter 12 likely isn't going to be particularly long -- it's just wrapping up that Victor's got his memory back and joy is unconfined -- but yeah, the wall deserves a chapter all its own. As does the happy. :)
Not much else to say about the day -- caught up with Linkara doing the first of his "50th anniversary of Star Trek" reviews (he's going to do one about once a month, to make up for his lackluster response to Dr. Who's anniversary) -- a surprisingly bland comic crossing over a bunch of various medics from the various series -- and the Nostalgia Critic taking on Pluto Nash -- a comedy that seems to have forgotten it is a comedy. *shakehead* Also played some Portal -- got past the turret room of doom via careful placement of portals to allow me to pick them all up and drop them from great heights, mwahahaha. Of course, my new problem is that I'm stuck as to where to go again. I got up to where I thought I was supposed to go, but -- after defeating two more turrets -- I've run out of portal-able surfaces. Guess it's time to consult the YouTubes again!
Right now, though, it's time to catch up with a few tags and such -- later, all!
