Happy Anniversary BTTF!
Jul. 3rd, 2016 10:04 pmWore one of my shirts in honor of the day -- and browsed through BTTF.net's store to see if there was anything I wanted. I kinda have my eye on #9 of the Continuum Conundrum comics, but with shipping it's $7, and I've been having luck getting the comics at Newbury's lately, so. . . Might hold off on that.
I did succumb to the urge to buy things in other places, though -- just ordered the last three books of the Tiffany Aching series of Discworld off Barnes & Noble (they had a 15% off one item coupon going, and getting all three qualified me for free shipping). And on Steam -- yeah, I got Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines, the Bioshock pack with all three games, and Fallout 4. I hesitated on that last one for a bit, but then I watched some of the promotional stuff and -- hell, why not. I've already got a seed of a Valice AU for it based solely off some of my online friends' love for certain characters and a vague plot outline. I really need to start playing more of the games I throw Victor and Alice into. (Also a reason to buy the Bioshocks -- had an AU for THAT a while back.) Downloading them right now -- Vampire and first Bioshock are done, Bioshock 2's about halfway. Dunno when I'm going to find the time to play them all, but -- well, I have weekends, and currently half days on Fridays. All I have to do is carve out a little extra time, I suppose. Certainly have a bit tomorrow, w000~
Not much else to report -- weather was decent most of the day, though it clouded up by the time I went out for my walk. I think we might be under thunderstorm threat either later tonight or tomorrow night? Hmmm. Also watched Bayonetta and Dark Souls III with Helloween, which is always fun times. :D Poor Helloween had a real bad time in one of the optional areas in the latter game -- lost a lot of souls, poor guy. Fortunately he seems back on the right track now. Tomorrow is Linkara and a pretty hefty Vampire marathon, but I am all for that on my day off. (Also the reason I'm playing Vampire first -- well, once I get the patches installed.)
Right now, though, it's RP times, so I should be off. Night all, sleep tight!
