Vampire Sunday This Time
Jul. 4th, 2016 10:39 pmGot the Unofficial Patch for the game all installed (which actually makes its own shortcut to the game and everything) -- however, I haven't gotten a chance to start playing yet. Mainly because, well, I wanted to watch Helloween's latest LP sets, and they were looong. But good! Guy did some of the new content in said patch (some restored/new quests), and advanced the main quest past raiding the Giovannis (which he kind of did twice -- once the sneaky way, once the kill 'em all way using an old save). Which gave me some ideas regarding my AU, and how to get two ladies I'm not sure would otherwise be able to join in into it. . . The Giovanni seem really good at zombies, you see. . .
Speaking of zombies, have advanced further in Chapter 6 of "In The Land of the Dead" -- past "Remains of the Day," so now it's time to edit Bonejangles summarizing CB for Lizzie's benefit. Which, I swear, takes longer to do than it does to actually sit down and watch the movie. . . Still, I've got some amusing changes in mind for it, so it's not like its a hardship.
Also watched Linkara's "15 Things Wrong With Civil War" video, which was longer than I thought it would be, but contained good ranting. It's truly amazing some of the douchey behavior from characters on display in that miniseries. No wonder a lot of people hated it. (Also, some very awkward racism involving the one death being a black superhero. Ummmmmmm. . .) At least next week he gets to return to something he loves -- Star Trek! I look forward to it.
And -- not much else to say, at the moment. We're not really a 4th of July family out here, though I did see some fireworks from my window. And I've got work, so I've got to hit the hay sooner rather than later now. First things first, though: Nebbychan draws the Liddell sisters and a living Emily (with appropriate prosthetics) for her Dead Rising AU. I approve :D Night all!
