Acceptable Wednesday

Definitely acceptable in terms of traffic -- today was downright smooth sailing compared to how it has been. Weather was -- okay. Warm, but a bit humid and kinda cloudy all day. Still got a walk in, though. Work was all right -- I'm almost to the end of that one big chunk of Roster Maintenance, hurrah! And we dropped in on a baby shower for one of the downstairs receptionists, so that was nice.

Especially nice thing -- finishing up Chapter 11 of "In The Land of the Dead!" Since it's still in first draft mode, though, I have no plans to post it tomorrow. Instead, my idea is to get Chapter 12 going, then edit Chapter 11 and maybe get that up for next Thursday evening/Friday. Then I can do much the same for Chapter 12, and hopefully get back on track with Chapter 13 being a re-edit of something that already exists. I can't believe how much this darn story has grown, it's crazy. A good crazy, but still. Part of me's eager to get back to Victor and Alice already. Hoping that'll help ensure "Remembering You" edits are smooth sailing. . .

Not much else to say, beyond hoping I can breed a Herald in DragonVale and thus have another dragon I don't have to buy -- wish me luck! Right now, though, it's time to finish up a thing or two, and go to bed. Night!
