Somewhat More Awake Sunday
Sep. 11th, 2016 10:47 pmNot completely, but I'm over the worst of my period exhaustion -- good thing, too, because I've got work tomorrow. Still got a few things in my inbox that I need to get to, but that's what lunch breaks are for.
Updates for today:
-->More edits on Chapter 11 -- almost done with those, actually! Should finish up tomorrow, then it's onto Chapter 12. Doesn't look like you'll get the double update this Friday, but at least Chapter 11 will be ready to go.
-->A visit to Newcrest in Sims 4 -- Wheatley had the day off today, so he and Chell hit the gym while Geeker was at work. They've made best friends and got some fitness out of it, so that was good. Poor Geeker had a rough day at work, though -- bad chance card, tense moodlet, and he ended up coming home late (glitch, I assume). But he got sugar cookies and video games at the end of it, so that was nice.
-->Watched Helloween's next F.E.A.R. set and penultimate Bayonetta set -- both good stuff. Helloween died twice to his own stupidity in the first, and had more hilarious glitches with dead bodies. XD And in the second, there was a hard but entertaining boss fight against a fabulous villain, plus more exposition that made the story somewhat comprehensible. Either way, good times, good times~
-->Also watched LGR muse on why he doesn't find The Sims 4 really that engaging. I don't quite agree with his opinion, as I still enjoy it, but I acknowledge my play-style is very different from his, and I did skip a generation (going straight from 2 to 4). I can see how for someone used to features from Sims 3, it would be a letdown, and I've already said the glitches/certain features (like that accursed population control) have already made it so I won't be buying any new packs myself in the future, so. . . *shrug* Kinda sad how far The Sims has fallen in that regard.
-->Did the queue for Forgotten, and set up a few posts for the future in my main's drafts -- largely how I'd stat out Alice and Victor if I were playing them in Bloodlines. So I'm good for a couple of Thursdays there, at least. :P
And that's about it for now. Pats game still seems to be going on downstairs, but regardless, I have to brush my teeth and get to bed. Night all!
