Less DW, More Tumblr
Sep. 13th, 2016 10:31 pmThings even out -- Forgotten had a decent-sized queue today, and I had a couple of comments on DW. Nothing I can't handle.
Work was about usual -- lots of maintenance, writing up instructions for things, nothing too exciting. Though there is this 5K Wellness Walk coming up on the 30th that I'm signing up for. It's set in one of the state parks out in Bristol -- I like walking, so why not? Traffic coming in was the usual annoyance, though not as bad as it could have been, especially since my bus was late this morning and the driver was talking about a massive accident. I managed the 8-4 schedule, and traffic home was reasonable, so yeah. Small mercies, I suppose.
Went on my spending spree in DragonVale -- actually, I did it last night, but I bought one last thing when I got home today -- the Spooky habitat! I missed out during last year's Candy Bash, so I'm happy to snag it this time around. :) All my dragons are safely in their habitats and named appropriately, so I'm good to ride out the last few hours of the Tournament. Gonna enjoy the quiet for a bit before the Halloween event pops up.
Started edits on Chapter 12 of "In The Land Of The Dead" -- again, just tweaking things here and there. And adjusting the timeline -- I actually pushed Chapter 11 to a little later in August, and now we're skipping September entirely so Lizzie and company meet the Houndsditch kids in early October. (October 6th, in fact -- might as well have it be Mad Hatter Day, right? :P) I think that feels more reasonable than the timeline I had before. (Seriously, what made me think it was acceptable to have them take that long to get to Burtonsville that first time around. . .) If things keep going well, we should wrap this baby up for good in early October.
And -- not much else to say here. Gonna finish up my replies, then maybe take a minute to listen to a remix or something before hitting the sheets. Night all, sleep tight!
