Final BTTF Day
Nov. 16th, 2016 10:04 pmI've been a little remiss this year in catching my 10:04s, but I figured I needed to make the effort for the last day of the main BTTF calendar (aka what we see in the movies). Marty's off to 1885 to almost run into some Indians, as you do. :P I may be rather more into Corpse Bride and Alice these days, but there's always going to be a part of me that loves BTTF more than anything. As evidenced by the fact that it shows up so regularly in my multifandom AUs!
The trend of kinda "meh" days continues, I'm afraid -- dull day at work with that damn file, and a long ride home courtesy of a big accident on the highway. Commuting is tough, man -- especially when you've finished your latest book AND your iPad's battery is low. Fortunately I am the kind of person who can keep herself entertained by staring out the window. . . Speaking of the book, I have finally finished the last Discworld novel, The Shepherd's Crown! It's another of Tiffany Aching's, and -- you know, the afterword speaks of other ideas Terry had, including a sequel to The Amazing Maurice And His Educated Rodents and a new Watch novel, but I think on some level he knew this was the last one.
( Probably Big Spoiler Ahead )
Fortunately for me, I do already have another book lined up -- and it's Pratchett again! One of his other books, called Truckers. I think I've already read the short story it was based on, so I'm looking forward to the expanded version. :)
Okay, that's the big thing of note today -- I've gotta get my queue for Butterfly Boy done. Night all!
