crossover_chick: gif with Doc and Marty trying to get out of being written into twisted AUs (Default)
I completed the initial set-up, installed a theme, reinstalled the theme after something didn't look quite right, then started getting pages up. Still very much under construction, but it's a start! I'll work on it some more again tomorrow. Gotta find some decent pictures for the various image slots, though. I'm sure I'll figure out something.

Other things I have done today:

-->Wrote more on Chapter 8 of "Remembering You" -- had Abigail wake Alice up, and now she's going to meet Officer Hightopp and a very special guest. I should be able to finish this by tomorrow or Tuesday, depending on the length of upcoming scenes. :)

-->Posted another blast from my past on the website: Victor vs March over pudding! Most Christmassy thing I've done all day, despite it being a week out. :P

-->Caught up on Helloween's vids, including:

Metal Gear Solid Ghost Babel -- a GameBoy game whose last set was JUST OVER A YEAR AGO -- in Helloween's defense, he thought he'd lost the save. XD Fun times were had with Solid Snail and Helloween being, as always, a little iffy when it comes to the stealth.

Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow -- featuring Soma Cruz, he who is able to absorb monster souls and wield their powers! I am all for this and am already looking forward to a great LP. Helloween's already gotten some great powers and smacked some dudes around royally. XD

ObsCure, a strange little game that was apparently described to him as "Resident Evil with teenagers." And set in the world's creepiest school, from what we can see. He's done the prologue, and already this game looks hilarious. Wooden voice acting, just-blocky-enough models, and plenty of over-the-top EVIL afoot. This is gonna be great. XD

-->Also caught up with the latest Fun With Shorts, about the care of the nails and hair. Educational shorts in the 40s and 50s seemed really obsessed with telling kids how to be Clean and Neat. At least Josh got off some good zingers in this one. "Speaking of a dull film. . ."

-->Played a little Vampire -- Harry completed his VV quests, and then hunted down the snuff film that Isaac wanted him to get, murdering a few monstrous creations along the way. So THAT chunk of the main quest is done. We still need to go up to Andre's house and confront the flesh-molding bastard, but I decided I wanted to do Ash's sidequest first, so I've parked Harry in the Asp Hole so I can start it once I get back in. Ah, the wonders of not having any time limits on your vampiric unlife. :p

And -- that's about it, really. I don't even have a driving lesson to report on -- we didn't go out today. Weather was a little better, but really windy. . .and I think my parents had other things they wanted to do. Well, it's not like I won't be making it up over the extra-long weekend, I'm sure. I've missed a weekend of practice before -- I will survive.

Right now, though, I really should get to bed -- another week of work coming up! At least it's only four days, and will involve some present exchange. And cookies. Lots and lots of cookies. Night!
