Busyish Monday

Nothing too crazy, fortunately -- just credit cards, direct debits, having to call a guy about an overpayment, getting another call about an overpayment, getting reminders sent out. . . Busy, but not overwhelming, and just enough to make the day go by reasonably fast. I like that, particularly with short weeks. I'll have plenty to do tomorrow too, which is nice. Just want to keep things moving along. . .

Speaking of that, managed to finish Chapter 8 of "Remembering You" tonight! Alice has gotten confirmation that someone she feels she hurt doesn't hate here, and I get to have Gryphon and the Mock Turtle gamboling in the background of her mind. Life is good. :p I'll be focusing on finishing up my gift fics through the rest of the week, then I'll get going on Chapter 9 -- which, fortunately, should NOT require such a massive rewrite. At least I caught this mistake before it went live. *eyes a few of the old chapters of "In The Land of the Dead"*

Most of the rest of the evening has consisted of catching up on tumblr and doing a little chatting with a friend about her Sims shenanigans -- apparently Sims 4 Sims can "Try For Baby" ON THEIR OWN. Fortunately my Sims have not tried this nonsense yet (probably helps that I only play them one day at a time), but I'd better keep an eye on the two married couples, I think. Dad and I also got Mom's Christmas present, so that was good. Wrap those up later this week, and I should be all set for physical gifts. My coworkers' stuff is already all set to go, and Mom already baked a ton of cookies for me to bring in, soooo -- yeah. Pretty well prepared for Christmas.

Okay, time to answer my e-mails (or, rather, answer the things the e-mails alerted me to), and then hit the sack. Night all!
