crossover_chick: Doc looking very sarcastically over his shoulder (BTTF: in a sarcastic mood)
Causes of the mild stress include:

-->Snow totals for tomorrow going to 3 to 5 inches for our area -- and we might be on the line for 5 to 7 inches. Not sure, it was hard to read the weather map this morning. Either way, going to be an icky weekend for weather it appears! And there's another storm coming in on Tuesday -- fun.

-->Playing through the Proving Grounds on BioShock, which -- uuuuugh. Everything trying to kill you gets all that much more annoying when there's someone else you have to keep alive nearby. ESPECIALLY when you're suddenly dealing with much more limited vision thanks to the stupid Big Daddy helmet you're wearing! *grumbles* I actually did pretty good -- only lost one Little Sister, though it took some reloading and careful planning to make it all work. But man, I can see why not a lot of people like that level. I'm saved right insides the elevator that will take me to Fontaine and the final boss fight. Looks like this weekend will be my last with BioShock! And then it's on to the sequel. . .

-->My mom being called in suddenly to work when she was scheduled to go in later today (minor emergency with the lady she helps care for; it's all set now) -- she was understandably grumpy about that

-->Going out with Dad to start getting Mom's Christmas presents -- Dad ran into some issues with getting a gift card for her activated, and the ride home was kind of a crawl thanks to heavier-than-we-were-expecting traffic. But we got three items off her list, so that's good, at least.

So yeah, none of that was exactly fun. Although, to balance it out:

-->Finished up my latest snippet for "The Technicolor Phase" -- officially free and clear to focus on gift fics for a while! Just a fun little piece to get Alice and Emily acquainted -- and now I'm only two snippets away from the end! Or, well, from the editing pass. Still. :)

-->Watched my two Linkara episodes (a Kamen Rider series that looks silly, but fun, and a Hellraiser Holiday Special anthology comic -- yes, really -- which features a Cenobite that is basically the Doom Marine -- YES REALLY), another Sims Mobile video from The Sim Supply where he ACTUALLY BUYS one of their $90 bedroom sets to show just how little value you get for your dollar (cripes James!), and a couple of Kubz Scouts videos about the "Ethan Must Die" minigame from Resident Evil 7 (poor dude died SO MANY TIMES before finally managing to take out Marguerite) and one -- where he plays The Sims 4: Cats & Dogs! Not one I ever expected to see on his channel O.o It was fun, though -- a short thing of him cracking up over some of the hairstyle options in the game and adopting three puppies because he was charmed by all of them. :) Good stuff.

-->Got the Valice Multiverse queue done, which is always a nice accomplishment. Also determined what shall be my Song Saturday for this week, which is also good.

-->Got a hot chocolate on the way home from the shopping trip. Needed to let it cool down for a few minutes, as per usual, but it was tasty.

So yeah, mixed bag Friday. At least tomorrow I don't have to worry about going out anywhere. Got a sort of "Sims Saturday" thing going on -- playing Sims 4 myself (getting Eric into his own digs, hopefully getting Einy made for Emmett), and watching about two and a half hours worth of "Wags To Riches" episodes. Yes, seriously. James has been releasing these really quick lately -- I guess for once he doesn't have to take any trips during an LP and is taking full advantage of that to crank out the content! Not that I really mind. ;p As it stands, right now I gotta get this Song Saturday post reblogged, and answer a message or two. Night all!
