CAPpy Tuesday
Jan. 9th, 2018 11:26 pmWent to the workshop -- most of it was more on the development side for the schools, but it appears the reps are interested in this new e-mail blast schedule being worked up. Particularly for courting potential new donors -- everybody wants all the contact information. And of course there's another data submission coming up. . . I guess we'll see where it all goes!
Other than that, though, it was a pretty quiet day -- I spent most of it either doing roster maintenance (and cleaning up duplicates wherever I found them, which was many places) or helping take down the last of the Christmas decorations, since we're officially past the 12 Days of Christmas. No more holidays. . . Well, MLK Jr. Day is next Monday, but you know what I mean. I find myself eagerly anticipating Easter -- hopefully it's a nice one this year! I was talking about it with my coworkers the other day, and we agreed that January and February are the hardest months to get through when it comes to winter. Christmas helps brighten things up a bit and makes snow feel acceptable. Once we're past that point, though, I'm just -- bleh. At least I have some small consolation in that the days ARE slowly but surely getting longer. . .
Nothing much to report on for home either. Did another page on "Secundus 2," which is good -- the gang is sort of back on happier topics (Victor and Victoria's parents just came up. . .on the other hand, this is a good lead-in to one of the scenes I want to do, so yeah). Did the Valice Multiverse queue and answered the stuff in my inbox. Still pondering what I want to do for the rest of the week's queue on VictorLuvsAlice, but I do have a few ideas written down, and I've still got a day to knock them into shape.
*shrug* So yeah, nothing particularly special to report. I'm gonna go ahead and hit the sack. We'll see if anything more interesting happens tomorrow. Until then -- night all!
