Deadly Premontion Saturday

Yup, worked my way through Helloween's two mega-sets! Good times, too -- York remains a delightful human disaster. XD Man cannot get it through his head that mealtimes are not the best time to start discussing dark and gory crimes. And as usual his method of investigation manages to annoy everyone around him. And then he'll turn around and be an encouraging sweetheart to Emily when she starts getting down about being a small-town cop around this big FBI agent. And he does genuinely seem to care about solving Anna's murder and bringing the perpetrator to justice. He's just such a weirdo you forget that he can be nice. :p Not like the townspeople are that much more normal, though. . . I think my favorite so far is the rockabilly owner of the local convenience store, Keith. XD Though Mr. Stewart and his rhyming interpreter are definitely up there too. I love seeing them and York bounce off each other. They kind of speak each other's languages. :p This game is just so kooky, it's fantastic. XD

Other things accomplished today:

-->Got back to work on "The Technicolor Phase," my "everyone important to you in your life gives you a color" AU. Edited a young Alice getting a color from Bumby, who proceeds to be a creepy ass. What do you expect. I might actually start posting some of these soon -- I've got a bit of a buffer here, and it would be nice to see what people think of it. I mean, on AO3, the tags alone should be interesting. . .

-->Played some BioShock 2 -- got through the Big Sister fight, though I died multiple times. Fortunately, dying was not such a big deal as, THIS time, I made sure to do the fight in a place with a convenient Vita-Chamber. I also explored a bit more, bought another Plasmid Slot (currently filled with Scout), hacked my way through the iciest, most heavily guarded goody chamber in existence, then got my third Little Sister and did my first gather with her. Which happened to be in said iciest, most heavily guarded goody chamber in existence. One of my easiest gathers, honestly, what with four hacked cameras and a bunch of turrets helping me out, plus my usual traps and such. Good times.

-->Watched a "Fun With Shorts" that took on a very goofy version of the "three wishes that results in someone having sausages stuck to their nose" story. Production values never seemed to be a mainstay of Coronet. . .

-->Just got up the latest Scene From Secundus: stressed, about Victor dealing with a bad day with his Touched brain (it has a happy ending, don't worry)

-->And currently doing the RP thing. Gotta answer a comment on DW and then hop back over to tumblr. No rest for the weary. :p Night all!
