crossover_chick: Doc snoozing on his couch (BTTF: exhausted)
Except for the traffic. Traffic was fine and I appreciate that. But yeah, went in with high hopes of getting the parish weekly reports done early so I could get on the St. Thomas More stuff -- ended up spending basically the entire day on them thanks to continual interruptions to do other things. Mom and Dad keep telling me that it's a good thing that this happens, because it means they still need me for my job, but. . .it is so very frustrating to never be able to get up a good head of steam on ANYTHING because you don't know when you're going to be interrupted next. I almost NEVER feel like I had a truly good day's work these days. Cripes, I miss when I was just the development assistant and didn't have to worry about so much stuff. . . Did get the weekly reports done, though. And an e-mail blast for the CAP people, so they'll be happy.

Evening's been better -- vegged out a bit with a dash of TV Tropes, then did another page on "Secundus 2" -- Marty and Christopher's shooting contest. So far the festival is just everybody having fun, but the action will pick up again soon enough. . . I also watched another episode of "Super Sim" -- #14, and James has completed five aspirations! Mostly through lots and lots of speed-dating with Paolo (both "Serial Romantic" and "Soulmate"), building a rocket with Paolo and eating a grilled cheese sandwich in space ("Grilled Cheese," natch), and GRINDING until Max painted five masterpieces ("Painter Extraordinaire"). (The fifth one, "Bodybuilder," was completed a bit ago -- Athletic REALLY needs more aspirations associated with it.) I think the next one will probably be "Nerd Brain," since Max now has a completed rocket -- we'll see when I watch the next episode, though!

Rest of the evening's been catching up with tumblr and doing my Valice Multiverse queue, as usual. (And drafting a lot of fandom-related reblogs for dry spells.) I'm off to go get some sleep now. Tomorrow is Wednesday -- Mom's first day back at her job. We'll see how it goes. Night all!
