Feeling A Bit Overwhelmed Again
Apr. 11th, 2018 11:37 pmThe hits just keep coming at work -- there always seems to be something new demanding my attention. Or something that I have to help people fix. I still haven't gotten to one of my planned projects. . . On the plus side, I got out all the capital campaign reports, the pull file the processing company needed, and fixed the last of some people who were still linked with a closed parish. Small victories.
Evening's been pretty good too:
-->Wrote some more on "Fixing You" -- Victor and Alice are smashing up the last of the Colossal Nell little faces. Coming up on the big finale of this particular bit!
-->Watched three episodes of "Super Sim," because supper was just one clip of "Live at the Apollo" and Helloween didn't post any new sets today. Max has started growing pristine grapes (which sell for a fair whack of cash); gotten his cowplant started; almost finished the "Angling Ace" and "Freelance Botanist" aspirations; and actually finished the "Public Enemy" one (he got his promotion to Level 8 of the Criminal career)! So he's doing good. Paolo has also become an elder because James decided he'd rather not use Potions of Youth on him -- I'm hoping the guy manages to live out his life and die from old age rather than get eaten by a cowplant or anything. We'll see, I suppose!
-->Did a little more on my VictorLuvsAlice queue, including some angsty headcanons for my Lovecraft Jazz AU (have decided neither the Everglots nor the Van Dorts survive the trip to Innsmouth -- mostly because they show dickhead behavior in abandoning their kids to save their own skins). Unsure what I'm going to do for Forgotten Vows Friday yet. . .I have a topic in mind, but it's hard to put into words, and I'm not sure if it's something I should save for later anyway. Hmm. . .
And that's about it, really, but it is nice to have some time to watch videos and chill out a bit. Tomorrow should be an interesting day -- we've got our lunch meeting, and we'll see how that goes. On the plus side, I might actually get a chance to do some stuff I've been meaning to do, soooo. . . Fingers crossed there! As it stands, time to finish off the comments in my inbox and go to bed. Night all!
