crossover_chick: Doc in goggles and holding a big old plug with the words "feeling sparky..." (BTTF: feeling sparky/creative)
Yeah -- for a minute there this morning I was worried when the traffic started building up on Mineral Spring again, but this was just usual heavy traffic -- that is, we kept moving, instead of being pretty much stopped dead most of the time. Got to work on time and actually had a pretty decent day - little problems here and there, but we got them all fixed sooner or later. I wasn't NEARLY as stressed out as I was yesterday. I think the weather helped with that too -- we basically got a day of gorgeous summer weather. :D Took a walk at lunch, and another after I got home (Dad lent me his water bottle so I could stay hydrated). Currently sitting her in my nightgown with my ceiling fan going. Good times!

Writing also went well today -- I got another good chunk done on "Fixing You," and I've pinned down how I want the rest of the chapter to go. Getting a good, solid handle on what Victor's issues actually are and how they should express themselves has definitely helped elevate this fic! I also got my latest "Imagine Me And You" short up: Another Perfect Name, about how Victor and Alice came up with the name for their son Vincent. Nice to have a bit of Forgotten Vows fluff to balance out the stuff I'm currently writing. AND at work I managed to get the posts I want to queue up for Alice's birthday (this Friday) on The Valice Multiverse drafted! Along with a post for tomorrow on VictorLuvsAlice. So that was nice.

On the entertainment side, I was going to watch The Sim Supply's renovation of the Old Salt House vet in his "Wags to Riches" series at last. . .but James just uploaded a THIRD part that's nearly an hour all on its own, so I think that particular mini-series shall wait until the weekend. I am caught up on Linkara (Comic Book Quickies, featuring Bat-Baby! It's as dumb as it sounds!) and James's "Rags to Riches EXTREME" challenge (Harvey has a retail store of collectibles now, plus an actual bed, shower, toilet, and cooler! James is saving up so Harvey can next run a restaurant). Fun stuff!

And now I have to empty out my inbox and head to bed as always. Very glad today's gone better, let me tell you. I think I might have needed that cry yesterday, honestly -- I've had a LOT of stress on me lately, and I think it needed a proper outlet. Let's see what the rest of the week brings. Apparently thunderstorms with potential hail are on the way -- fuuun. *sigh* Ah well, at least today was nice. Night all!
