Another Lazy Sunday -- Again
Jun. 3rd, 2018 11:34 pmSpent pretty much my entire morning reading TV Tropes's page on the 2016 Hitman -- I blame OXBox for pointing me there. :p I swear, it's just so hard to get moving on Sunday mornings. . .maybe because I don't have to clean my room and thus I don't really have any particular motivation to get up and dressed right away.
Up and dressed I did get eventually, though, and I did do some productive stuff:
-->A solid chunk on "Secundus 2," with the mayor banishing Doc and Marty -- only for them to say "yeah, dude, we already knew and were planning on leaving;" the current argument is if they have to leave that second or if they can stay a little while to wrap up loose ends. Also Clara basically proposed to Doc, so that was cute :)
-->Watched an OXBox list video regarding theories revolving around the next Fallout game on the horizon, Fallout 76 (and here's me with Fallout 4 still waiting in my games list while I deal with crashy BioShock 2 -- I remember when I had more time for video games. . .); a comparison of cats between the four Sims games (because I find that sort of thing interesting); and James's next two episodes of his "Mad Scientist" series (the bunker his sim lives in now has a toilet, shower, fridge, and two counters, wow! Also he's gotten promoted twice and set himself on fire once). Good times!
-->Played my own Sims 4 session, which was even more eventful than I expected! I joined Wheatley for another day at the hospital -- he diagnosed and treated two kids and got promoted to Assistant Nurse; then I sent the gang to the Spice Festival -- neither Chell nor Wheatley could pass the Spice Challenge, but they found plenty of spice with each other; and then a random NPC invited Geeker on a not-date to the local burger joint -- and it turns out he's single and he and Geeker have some chemistry. . . ! So yeah, that was all pretty cool. :)
-->Went for my walk -- I'm getting better at the jogging bits on my route, which is good. Lot cooler today too, so I didn't sweat quite so much. Still needed a shower afterward, though.
-->Watched Helloween's latest set of Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes. Much plot stuff happened, along with much bad stealth on Helloween's part. The poor man just cannot use that cardboard box effectively sometimes. . . Also, got to see a Psycho Mantis boss fight in person! And Helloween even had an old save on his emulator for PM to read! (Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem, if you're curious.) Good stuff, even if Snake is currently locked up and needs to plan a daring escape to save the world.
-->Did some more queuing -- Wednesday Sims post in the can on tumblr, yay~ Always good to be a little ahead.
And now I have to finish answering the things in my inbox and get some sleep -- fresh week of work tomorrow! Gotta hit the ground running with some stuff. At least I get to leave early a couple of days. . . Night all!
