crossover_chick: Doc in goggles and holding a big old plug with the words "feeling sparky..." (BTTF: feeling sparky/creative)
It was a very quiet day at work -- again, just me and one coworker up front. This time, however, I didn't have to worry about getting a bunch of gifts on for a certain date and redoing any GLs, so I was able to just get on some imports, do a batch of gifts, and do some reports for people before taking my lunch and heading home. :) Very glad that my first half-day of the year wasn't too stressful! The weather's also taken a turn for the better -- we had a bit of heavy rain and thunder, then it was muggy as heck for a while, but now -- well, I've got my windows open and the air conditioner off for the first time in a week! Got a good breeze going, and it's just basically comfortable. :) I like.

Other things I like:

-->Finishing up "Fixing You!" Yup, I only had a couple more pages to go, so I pushed on though and completed it! :D So that was pretty awesome. The plan is to let it sit for a few days while I work on a few other things ("The Technicolor Phase" and some other AU snippets I want to write), then I'll go back to it and start chopping it up into individual chapters to edit and post. Should see it all start coming together before July's over!

-->Starting BioShock 2: Minerva's Den! Yup, got my DLC campaign started -- Minerva's Den has a pretty awesome steampunky sort of vibe to it, mixed with the usual Art Deco flair of Rapture. I like it. And it gives me a goddamn LASER GUN :D I'm kinda lacking on the plasmids currently, but hopefully that's a situation that'll be corrected relatively soon. After all, I hear there's some plasmids unique to this DLC that I haven't seen yet. . . Currently I'm just hacking the heck out of all the security bots to help me kill Splicers. *shrug* You work with what you've got.

-->Watching more of Thicckoskia in Dark Souls: Remastered! A whole HOUR's worth of her, in fact -- Helloween decided he wanted to cover the DLC area in one set. He did very well, despite having awful luck in timing how to dodge attacks -- Thicckoskia is so thicc that it takes a lot to damage her these days. He came CLOSE to dying lots, but only actually died once. AND he luckily wasn't invaded fifteen million times like he was expecting -- just one NPC generated by the game itself. Good stuff.

-->Watching more of the current Bigwallet family in "Rags To Riches Seasons!" Caught up on a couple more episodes of The Sim Supply's LP -- both Raggy and Richie are toddlers now; James gave the family a proper living room; Scooby temporarily got stuck out on the beach when a medium-length walk around the island turned into a much longer trip that James expected; James rearranged the garden and moved everything in-season outside to see if it helped things grow (it does); and the family celebrated Halloween, only for the game to SEVERELY start glitching out at the end. James is obviously both having a blast doing all this new stuff, and losing his mind trying to take care of so many Sims. XD Poor guy. . .this is why I try to keep my families small too. It can be hard keeping track of everyone!

-->Getting my tumblr queues set up -- found a GREAT video for my Song Saturday on VictorLuvsAlice, and got my "anniversary posts" up on ValiceMultiverse, along with some answered questions.

So yeah, that was all good. :) Tomorrow -- well, I don't have any specific plans beyond "watch more Sim Supply and play Sims myself," but it's Saturday. Do I need plans beyond that? :p Right now, though, I still have a few comments left to answer -- night all!
