Busy Yet Quiet Thursday
Jul. 5th, 2018 11:34 pmAs in the office was quiet -- just me and one other coworker up front -- but I ended up having a lot to do to get on all the last gifts for June (I had to talk to Fiscal about how certain things should be dated). Got it done and a new GL made, but it was frustrating -- especially when I kept getting interrupted so much by other issues (such as people having website problems and suchlike) I didn't even get a proper lunch break. Hmph. At least tomorrow's just a half-day -- we'll see what happens!
Afternoon was an improvement -- found myself a new workout video for keeping fit (really worked up a sweat), then had meatball sandwiches again for dinner, om nom. Love those. . .and I get to have the leftovers for lunch tomorrow, yay~ Then I watched the start of Helloween's latest LP -- Resident Evil 4! AKA the one everyone says is the best, I believe. Helloween certainly seems to be having fun shooting people's heads off (literally; even the HANDGUN can leave nothing behind but a stump) and looting every crate he can find. He's also gotten Leon killed twice XD To be fair, he hasn't played the game in quite a while, so just two deaths is probably good. Also watched a Fun With Shorts about surfing -- Josh was in fine form mocking the goofy narration and video. XD And I got to have more of the "good stuff" cheesecake with chocolate sauce, as it's my Dad's birthday today. :D (We agreed this would stand in for his cake.) So that was nice to end the day on.
I also wrote some more on "Fixing You" -- I'm almost up to the big climatic moment of the ending. I may very well be finishing this thing tomorrow! w000! I'll probably let it sit for a few days while I recharge my batteries on some other AU stuff -- then it'll be time to chop it up chapter by chapter and get ready for final posting edits! Exciting~ And I'll have to make a bit of time for "Secundus 2" second drafting too. . .maybe on Sundays? Hmmmm. . .
Something to think about later, though. Right now, I gotta empty out the inbox (Valice Multiverse queue already done) and head to bed. Hopefully tomorrow will go well -- night all!
