Pretty Chill Saturday

Didn't end up going mini-golfing today -- the plan instead is to go tomorrow, since it's going to be hotter and my parents figure most people are going to be heading to the beach instead of a mini-golf course. This seems logical to me, and it gave me the day to kick back and relax. Mainly by:

-->Futzing around on TV Tropes most of the morning (as I tend to do on weekends)

-->Finishing off the reworked version of Victoria and Barkis's wedding reception in "The Technicolor Phase" (managed to keep both Victoria and Emily's Crowning Moments of Awesome, yay)

-->Watching some videos (OXBox Hitman mission it turns out I'd watched (and commented on!) before, but was still fun; Deligracy holding a murderous dinner party to see how many Sims she could kill via bad pufferfish nigiri (ten!), and Deli doing a Sim via votes from her Instagram followers (a nasty Egyptian lady with some junk in her trunk))

-->Playing Sims 4 (today turned into a "building episode" -- I'd MEANT to just make Victor and Alice's basement crypt and laundry room and be done with it, but then I decided "you know what? They have some cash, let's put in the pool" and then I got caught up in where best to place stuff in the backyard (including Victor's greenhouse) and -- well, I've got all the ESSENTIALS in, now it's just a case of slapping in some wallpaper and flooring and putting up a few decorations)

-->Getting in my walk/run -- gotta take advantage of the decent weather while it's here! We're getting another temperature spike soon enough

-->Watching Helloween's latest Metroid Prime episode (Samus has traversed the snowy wastes, picked up some new powers, and fought a miniboss that was basically the unholy hybrid of a Jabberspawn and an Ice Snark D: Current infiltrating a Space Pirate base, which has some worrying logs about mutations being inflicted on the local wildlife. . .and some non-local Metroids. . .)

-->Putting up the latest Scene from Secundus: melt, which I basically totally rewrote because sometimes I do that with old prompts I'm not satisfied with anymore

-->Getting my VictorLuvsAlice queue ready for the next few days (not my ValiceMultiverse one though, as that account has been pretty dead all night -- probably just gonna queue up a few things and close it out for the night soon, honestly)

So yeah -- pretty solid but relaxing day. I can dig it. :) Time to clear out the inbox again, and see how well I can keep up with messages over on tumblr. Night all!
