Much Wetter Friday
Nov. 2nd, 2018 11:39 pmWarm as heck, but gloomy and drizzly and breezy most of the day -- and a little while ago, I heard a HELL of a crack of thunder. o.O Fortunately it was the only one. . . And tomorrow's supposed to start out warm, but drop rapidly through the day as the wind picks up and a cold front moves in. I swear, the weather in this state sometimes. . .
Still, can't say I didn't have another decent day off. Pretty much the same deal as yesterday, only minus the going outside for a walk part. Did another Valice Shipping Week short, which I'm slapping in the queue right now. Only got one more to go, so I'm thinking I'll clean that up tomorrow and do the "Technicolor Phase" short on Sunday. And then I've got a gift fic to think of, so maybe that on Monday, and then back to "Fixing You" Chapter 9. Whew. Also, less Sims videos and more videos on other games:
-->Three OXBox/OXTra videos: one on cheap moves in fighting games we all like to spam (such as the famous "HADOUKEN!" from Street Fighter II), one on more video game tattoos that would be cool if they didn't involve permanently marking your skin with needles (I think I personally would get a Sims plumbob or Alice's Vorpal Blade), and one from a special "Hitman Roulette" series they did where Mike was tasked with completing the third mission in Morocco without distracting anyone with thrown objects, and with using a small melee weapon for the first target, and a large one for the second. After a bad false start, Mike managed to complete the mission using a thrown combat knife and a random battle axe that was lying around. XD
-->One 60 Parsecs video from Jay -- he managed to get a new ending on one of the planets, though the ending where all four crew members survive still eludes him. Maybe if he read the notes more often. . .and more correctly. . . (Yeah, it's starting to get frustrating when he makes stupid, easily-avoidable mistakes from not reading stuff.)
-->Another Call of Cthulhu set from Helloween -- Edward Pierce has managed to get into the warehouse he was investigating by trading favors with the local leader of the bootlegger gang (a scary woman named Cat), then teamed up with one of the local police to investigate the mansion of the Hawkins family and look into the cause of the fire. Seems it wasn't as accidental as first thought. . .also, there's a creepy occult circle on the floor of Sara's office, and a cultist lurking about in the attic. Helloween's in the process of figuring out how to open a secret door so he can give proper chase. Nothing particularly sanity-bending yet besides some creepy paintings and the circle, but we'll see what happens.
So that was fun. Also have another Atop the Fourth Wall episode waiting in the wings -- gonna watch that tomorrow. So many videos, so little time. . .
Speaking of which, I really gotta actually finish that queue for tomorrow, and answer the comments in my inbox. . . Hooray for being able to stay up late, I guess. Night all!
