Mostly for two reasons:
1) I ended up having a longer-than-expected jaunt through BioShock Infinite, as I did a lot of exploring of the Market area of Emporia looking for goodies and suchlike. Picked up a pretty useful Vigor -- Return To Sender, which acts like an extra shield and can absorb and send bullets back at people. Also ran into quite a few little ambushes, including a REALLY ANNOYING set of snipers. Ugh -- I am NOT GOOD with that damn sniper rifle. Somehow I only ended up dying ONCE, and in a way that let me avoid going through any more of the fight that killed me, so. . . Current goal is to visit Lady Comstock's memorial garden so we can get into Comstock's house and find a way to control the Songbird. Unfortunately, I'm already aware Lady Comstock isn't quite as dead as everyone thinks. . .
2) I took some time after the Pats game (narrow loss to Miami; Dad was not happy) to help Mom decorate the inside of the living room for Christmas. Not much to it -- standing up some of our ornaments/Christmas swag around the room, and pinning a bunch more to the curtains. We don't really bother with a tree anymore (Mom doesn't like the mess, and I can't see where we'd fit it), so that's kind of the extent of our decoration. Hey, it works for us.
So yeah, between that and the cleaning I put off from yesterday, had less time to do stuff than I first expected. I did get one of my gift fics done, though, so that was good (Alice vs Nell about her wedding dress). And I'm caught up on my subscriptions, if not my Watch Later queue:
-->The Sim Supply renovating an old "waterfront" build (made with a giant pool to simulate the beach) as Lady II's eventual mansion in the Pinnacles, and the next part of "Get Famous Rags To Riches" LP (a good chunk of which was spent in build mode as he got really excited about renovating the lot from a trailer park to a mini movie studio XD Lady did get another gig, though -- and she's working hard on her money tree farm. First one was able to be evolved, so already she's earning way more money. And she's attempting to be a good mother to at least ONE of her children -- poor Blueberry's being left out in the cold, sadly).
-->Helloween's latest Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin set (Charlotte and Jonathan have conquered the domain of the Busty Student Witches and had a stab at defeating Death; also Charlotte can kill monsters with light now and turn into a frog at will) and Splatterhouse 2010 set (Rick is thoroughly tired of the Mask being a Chatty Cathy; Mask gives no fucks so long as Rick keeps murderizing things. Which Rick is willing to do to save his girlfriend from the evil Dr. West, so. . .).
Add in that I've gotten my two tumblr queues done and my inbox completed, and -- well, I can't say this was a BAD Sunday. Just would have appreciated finding a little more time for stuff like Atop the Fourth Wall. Tomorrow I'll set aside some time for that. For now, I gotta get to bed. Another week of work looms. . .night all!
