Kinda Meh Monday
Dec. 10th, 2018 11:08 pmHad a not-great ride in (accident RIGHT at my exit that I had to ease my way around); then the day was largely about taking calls from people looking for billing statements and helping out with the GL (yes, again, I don't know why I think trying to fix something actually fixes it). Plus it was chilly -- we're dipping down into the teens again tonight. I don't approve. >(
On the plus side, afternoon was pretty nice -- ride home was smooth, I got my work out in, we had a nice dinner, and I got a fair amount accomplished:
-->Two gift fics written (one about building a gingerbread house, one about one of White Wolf's less good sourcebooks)
-->Two Atop The Fourth Wall episodes watched -- he managed to get one out right on time today! So I got to see the Batman Returns adaptation (which sadly did not live up to the source material, mainly because it kept cutting out key character moments) and the Punisher Red Xmas comic (a good idea -- five mobster widows hire an assassin to deal with the Punisher as a form of revenge and to keep themselves safe -- hampered by very poor execution. Also, it took place primarily on NEW YEAR'S). There's storyline too, focusing on Eliza the foam lizard. Lot of talk about fitting in, finding family, dealing with negative emotions and so forth. Looking interesting so far.
-->My Sims posts for the week done on tumblr (we'll see if either of them get flagged -- I have two men kissing in one, after all), and I'm about get Thursday all covered too~
So yeah, that's a pretty solid evening right there. Now I just have to empty out the inbox, and I'm set for the night. We'll see how tomorrow goes -- just counting down the days! Night all!
