Dragging Tuesday
Dec. 11th, 2018 11:12 pmI feel like it should be later in the week already. Going to work is rather a chore as of late. Though part of me wonders if PMS is partly to blame -- it IS getting near that time of the month, if my body's keeping to any sort of schedule. But yeah -- more phone calls, more e-mails about stuff that you think would be resolved by now, more being interrupted every time I build up a head of steam on something. *grumbles* Just have to remember, one and a half more weeks. . .
Evening wasn't too bad, at least:
-->Got another two gift fics done -- pretty rough drafts, but the idea is to get the core ideas down, then take some time to refine them later on. You know, usual writing stuff.
-->Marathoned a bunch of The Sim Supply -- another episode of "The Adventures of Thorne Bailey" (Thorne's put his revenge plan into motion, having seduced (after a LOT of hilarious trouble) Lady's fiancee Holly and MAYBE gotten her pregnant -- they tried for a baby twice (in public, no less), but since Holly's an NPC, it's impossible to tell until she starts showing); a building video for Lady II's new "Trailer Studio" studio lot (now has three soundstages instead of three trailers; one for video production, one for music production, and one for filming that he built another little house INSIDE OF XD He also did a cool thing where he used pool lane markers to make crosswalks on the fake roads he built! Neat little details like that are why I like him. :)); and another episode of "Bread to Riches" with Dr. Gluon (the farming of carrots and potatoes is going well, and the boys actually took a day off to TAKE CARE OF HER NEEDS, shock and horror. Also shocking -- they've leveled up in Baking skill, and Gluon convinced James to go ahead and do fudge bars as there were no new bread options). All fun stuff -- he's a funny guy! Occasionally infuriating in the way he plays Sims, but I've come to terms with that. :p
-->Got my ValiceMultiverse queue done, yay~ And didn't have another five million asks when I came home. The anon thing can be funny, but it gets a little wearying when I get a lot of them in a short period.
So now it's time to clear out the inbox and prep for bed. Still got three days to get through. And I still need to do some shopping for Christmas -- need to check in with the parents about good times to go out. I'd like to just get it done with this Saturday, but we'll see. *shrug* To worry about later in the week -- night all!
