Another One Of Those Days
Feb. 7th, 2019 11:24 pmGray, gloomy, and full of stuff distracting me from other stuff and leaving me feeling like I'm behind on everything forever. Got something ELSE on our system now that needs a major adjustment, except that now there's all these weird little fiddly bits that need to be looked at and it's just -- *sigh* Not what I need right now. Or ever, frankly. And the ride home wasn't ideal either -- though I've had much worse, so I can't complain too much. Just I was hoping for less traffic. . .
Well, anyway, did get a few things done this evening, at least:
-->Some more written on Chapter 14 of "Fixing You" -- a quick fight with some Puppet-Hand Spiders, which has Victor getting a little too into using his Grim Scythe and Alice showing him how it's done with her Croquet Mallet XD We're pretty close to the end -- they just have to escape the Conglomeration one last time to reach the square! Then we at last move onto Chapter 15 and boss fight two! I'm excited. :)
-->Watched the next episode of "Super Sim Challenge" -- Max is almost a three-star celebrity just from constant streaming of himself doing random stuff! Such as planting things in his new greenhouse (James bought 40 rare seed packets as Max has the money to burn, and got a bunch of cool stuff like orchids, birds of paradise, some death flowers, some dragonfruit, some growfruit, and all the special emotion beans from the old PlantSim challenge -- which means Max was able to grow the special tree! James has no intentions of using it, but that's a good bit of info for me and my current family -- Emmett is missing only ONE bean. . .), playing with his dog (Opie is now an elder, and James seems unsure if he's going to age down the dog or not yet), and performing on the piano (he basically stayed at the Willow Creek nightclub all night playing and earning tons of tips along with fame). And all this before he's done a single acting gig! Max is just gonna breeze through this celebrity thing. :p
-->Watched the next set of Splatterhouse (2010) -- we're into the endgame, and the endgame is terrible frame rates and padding. Which, Helloween can forgive the latter, as he likes beating up demons, but the former actually stifles his ability to play, so. . . Still got that lovely over-the-top violence we all like, and good banter between Rick and the Mask (Rick manages to catch a meteor during a cutscene and throw it back, and he gets snippy when the Mask refuses to admit it was cool). Poor Hells died a lot to these bigger and better baddies, though -- think you should have spent a little more blood on special moves, Hells! But hey, we'll see how you do against the eventual final boss. . .
-->Got my Valice Multiverse queue done, and added a few bits to my VictorLuvsAlice one -- I knew exactly what I wanted to do for Song Saturday, which is always nice. Especially when you get to listen to a song that gives you all the OTP feels :)
And now it's time to empty out the inbox and hit the sheets. One more day of all this nonsense. . . Night all!
