Typical Stress
Feb. 6th, 2019 10:58 pmI swear, I make a plan for what I want to do at work, and suddenly there's all these other projects I have to complete. That level of frustration is not fun when you're on the rag. I'm just doing the best I can (and at least there were no abusive calls today), but still. SO hoping my other coworker really can come back next week. . .
Had another smooth ride home, though, so that was good. And I got in a workout, made my muffins, and posted the next chapter of "The Technicolor Phase" -- Alice Brown. Which is all about Emily and her first visit to Wonderland, in truth. She gets a nice surprise at the bottom of the rabbit hole. :) Next one is another Bonejangles POV -- I wanted to fit in one more before I started wrapping the fic up, so he got his fair share. :p
I also watched some Sims videos, namely:
-->The Sim Supply taking a bunch of Sim-themed quizzes on Buzzfeed (plus a couple of official ones on the official site) -- they were all SO low-quality, it was hilarious. The first one jokingly predicted when you were going to get married based on your choices, and gave James the date of July 5th, 2019. James promptly started treating this as a serious deadline, even calling in his roommate to figure out how he was going to find someone to get married to in time. XD Other quizzes included how knowledgeable you were about the games (James got 7 out of 10 on the one about the original The Sims, but 10 out of 10 on the more general knowledge quiz), guessing one of your Sim personality traits (he got "Insane" from what I'm guessing is The Sims 3, which -- even he admitted wasn't entirely inaccurate), and what kind of vampire you'd be from the official site (Moral Vampire, which if you've seen his Vampires LP, you'd know that's a load of bollocks XD). So that was amusing.
-->Deligracy taking us through the new Lunar New Year content added with yesterday's patch -- some new clothes, a bit of new furniture, some nice new decorations, and a couple of new recipes. I actually rather like the potted citrus tree that was added -- it's a cute little plant! And comes with a "no lucky money" variation so you can use it more generally. I'll have to find some place to stick it.
And I just got my VictorLuvsAlice queue sorted for up to the first half of Saturday, which is nice. :) At least I'm staying on top of THAT! I'm productive in one area of my life. . .
Speaking of that, I have to do my inbox rounds and then hit the sheets. Trying to get to bed a LITTLE earlier for sleeping purposes. Still got two days to get through too. . . *deep breath* We'll see what tomorrow brings. Besides drizzle, bleck. *sigh* Night all!
