AKA, my coworker felt well enough to come in today, and said she was feeling better as the day went on, so no more worries about whether or not I was going to to lose my day off. :) Had a fairly productive day at work too -- got a bunch of gifts on (clearing out some for the capital campaigns), helped with a few questions, all the usual stuff. A little stressful, but I've had much worse days. And now I'm off, yay~ No big plans except the bowling on Sunday, but I look forward to the chance to binge some YouTube videos. :p

Tonight, though, I actually binged some clothes -- my mom went to visit my aunt, and -- since we're similar sizes -- said aunt sent back three whole bagfuls of clothes for me to try on. Granted, some of them were just really bulky sweaters, and a lot of pieces I put on and went "nah, not for me," but I got some nice new sweaters, a comfy new sweatshirt, and some new pajamas out of the deal. And the other clothes I will take into work to see if any of my coworkers want any (since trading clothes is a thing we do). So yeah, a few new outfits for the wardrobe. I'm down with it. (Especially when it comes to new sweaters. I'm all for them in the colder months.)

After supper, I went through the usual routine -- mostly:

-->Looked up the latest on the new Sims 4 pack, which is coming next week and has already had the "prepwork patch" released for it. (I JUST got some new mods, game.) To my surprise, StrangerVille is NOT, as I originally guessed, a vacation world -- you can live there. There is definitely a story going on there, though, with weird alien stuff, but it's largely ignorable if you're not into it. Just pretend not to notice the Sims with weird walks and facial expressions wandering around. :p It also comes with the Military career and laptops, so -- reasons to get it? I'm still not as enthused as I feel I should be by this pack -- shouldn't something so odd be right up my alley? I'm placing the blame on the fact that I want a magic-using pack so freaking bad right now, that sci-fi stuff just isn't doing it for me. I'll probably still get it, but I'll see what James and Deli do with it first. (And considering the way I play, it would probably be super easy for me to just ignore the place entirely and just get my Sims laptops. XD)

-->Wrote some more on Chapter 15 of "Fixing You" -- Victor's gone Hysteria Mode! :D It was a pretty awesome scene to write -- especially since I've got more weapons now and could show off all their Hysteria forms. :D I even came up with what shape his meta-essence should form in -- musical notes! Hey, if Alice can have hearts, diamonds, triangles, and flowers. . . I should be able to wrap it up tomorrow, then see what I'm doing with Chapter 16. One of my reviewers suggested something that might be useful as a new idea. . .

-->Watched the first part of The Sim Supply building a new beach -- well, DOCK-front house for Max Power in Windenburg. He's semi-following the design of a beach house he found on Google Images, but has had to make a lot of changes to accommodate Sims 4 limitations. It's looking pretty interesting so far, though -- especially with all the terrain editing he's been doing. I'm looking forward to future episodes. :)

-->Watched Helloween's next set of Metro Exodus, where he wandered around the wasteland some more, harvested tons of mushrooms, ran away from ghouls, got killed by electrical anomalies (as he put it, the game is basically becoming STALKER now), rescued Anna from a toxic waste dump underneath an electrical tower, got exposited at at length, set off on a mission to retrieve a train passenger car from some distant terminal, and saved a villager and a guitar from some bandits. A very interesting set, is what I'm saying. XD Not helped by the fact that this set shows off just how stilted the voice acting can get. It's delightfully awful at times. No wonder Artyom never speaks, if that's what everyone ELSE sounds like. :p

-->Got my tumblr queues sorted, both Valice Multiverse and Victor Luvs Alice -- latter is good through the first half of Sunday now, which is nice. :) And I have a good idea of what's getting posted next week too, which is also good. Nice to feel like I'm ahead on that, if nothing else.

And now, it's time for the usual emptying of the inbox. And then -- I dunno, reading stuff until I'm too tired to stay up, I guess. :p Which may be sooner that expected, as I'm feeling rather sleepy right now. . .but then again, I know me. We'll see what happens. :p Night all!
