crossover_chick: Doc in goggles and holding a big old plug with the words "feeling sparky..." (BTTF: feeling sparky/creative)
I mean, work was still the usual amount of stress from being pulled in many directions at once and trying to keep up with everything (I did get some checks on, and completed an online security course I needed to do for our tech office), but at least the rides in and out weren't horrible. The light at the intersection was behaving itself this morning, and traffic was not tied up all the way into the boondocks this afternoon. So I'll take that. And it's the weekend too -- I'll take that as well.

Evening's been pretty good -- got my workout in, then had nice Chinese food for dinner. Haven't had that in a while. And then after that I did some more on Chapter 16, getting Victor through his crying jag and into the "defeat" of Thirteen -- though it's less that and more of a purification. Through the worst of the bad stuff, hooray! Now I can spend some time working on the fun "Victor builds his new Otherland" bit. :)

After that was videos:

-->Another "Super Sim" episode from The Sim Supply -- and a busy one too! Myra, Max's live-in baby momma, became a Plantsim (James wanted to see if that worked with pregnant Sims -- answer is yes) -- then sucked all the solar energy from Max's new grove of money trees, briefly bringing them to adult size before they vanished, much to James's horror (he didn't realize that would happen when he let her do that XD). Then ghost!Opie (Max's dog) appeared, and James decided to first add her back into the household, then bring her back to life with the help of Max's vet clinic. He even gave her a little makeover (mostly because he hated her shirt thing XD). Then Max went to work and did some musical cowboy gig -- got Gold and a promotion, but unfortunately he's still seeking that elusive movie contract. . . And finally, to round out the episode, Myra gave birth to her and Max's kids -- twin boys! The first is Romeo, after SimGuruRomeo (who starred in a lot of James's vids while he was at Sims Studios); the second is Minimum, as someone suggested that for a girl and James couldn't think of anything better. :p And there was flower arranging, since that's the last skill Max has to -- well -- max. XD Solid stuff, to be sure!

-->And a Call Me Kevin video about an old PS2 "Futurama" game, which turned out to be very hard and stress-inducing. Kevin is -- not great at platforming. XD Or not getting shook to death by sewer mutants. Poor guy spent most of the episode praying for checkpoints. XD

And then after that it's been the usual run through the webcomics and getting my Valice Multiverse queue sorted, interspersed with listening to some silly remix stuff. :p Not too atypical a Friday night, really. Now I have to -- well, we'll see about EMPTYING the inbox; I got a bunch of comments on "Secundus" from a new reader, and I still have my thing to do with my tumblr friend. But I can at least get to the stuff I drafted on my lunch break. Tomorrow -- movie time! Hopefully it's good. I quite enjoyed the first LEGO Movie, so, fingers crossed. Until then -- night all!
