crossover_chick: Doc snoozing on his couch (BTTF: exhausted)
Yes, with a question mark -- here's the thing. I woke up early this morning with a SUPER sore throat. I managed to go back to sleep despite that, and felt a little better once I woke up, though it was still bugging me. It's a soreness that's kind of at the top of my throat, going into my nose -- I sometimes get this when I'm getting a cold. The thing is, I'm not really showing any other symptoms of being sick. It's just this soreness (which I've dealt with via cough drops and some Dayquil, which has left me a touch loopy) and some tiredness. So I'm not sure if I'm SICK sick, or if I just have some minor thing. I dunno -- I guess we'll find out tomorrow. Really hoping for the latter, of course.

Despite that setback (and as a result sleeping in until 10:30), I did manage to get some stuff done:

-->Gave my room a clean -- couldn't really skip that, as I hadn't done anything last week and, if nothing else, my rug needed vacuuming

-->Played BioShock Infinite: Burial at Sea Chapter 2 -- after quite a lot of time wandering around and goodie hunting, I actually advanced the main plot by heading into the imprinting lab. Which was a creepy piece of work, let me tell you, with all of Fink's experiments in getting Songbird to imprint on Elizabeth, and sharing his labor with Suchong. So many creepy animal experiments. . . . *shudder* And Songbird eventually imprinted on Elizabeth simply after she showed him some kindness after he crashed into the tower after a fight. Elizabeth angsted for a while about this, and about how her whole family line is basically exploiters and exploited. Which -- she's not exactly wrong. . .at any rate, we've found the hair sample and are heading back toward the tear to return to Rapture. Got a few more voxaphones to find before I leave Columbia, though -- Daisy doing her share of the angsting about her revolution. This whole freaking DLC runs on angst, I swear.

-->Wrote the first draft of an upcoming gift for for a tumblr friend whose birthday is in a couple of weeks -- references a threesome she likes from her favorite fandom. :p Spent some time watching clips from it to get things just right -- I think it came out pretty darn amusing. We'll see if I feel the same when it comes time to refine it next Saturday. :P

-->Watched OXBox's "Show Of The Week," as it featured a "grudge match" between Mike and Andy in Hitman 2 Ghost Mode! Which, if you forget, is the one-on-one multiplayer mode where two 47's on similar but different layers of reality race to eliminate targets without being noticed and gain five points. The last time Mike and Andy played this, it ended in a stalemate where Mike was basically screwing over any and every attempt Andy made to score a point. XD The rematch was triggered by Mike commenting that the devs had nerfed many of the exploits he used. . .

Turns out, they weren't nerfed ENOUGH, as Mike won the grudge match. XD The same Mike who squandered his first point by killing a non-target (which subtracts from your score in this mode). Somehow, he managed to outrun and outgun the meticulous assassin Andy. Andy was -- displeased, to say the least. XD And this is why I love them and their Hitman content -- it's full of surprises. Mostly from Mike. XD

-->Watched the latest Secret of Mana 2 set from Helloween, which was largely "characters find way to travel to this place; discover that they need some plot-relevant item to proceed, have to go BACK to a previous location and locate said plot-relevant item, and find way back around." Involved much sailing the open seas, and being shot out of cannons. XD But they managed to get the item they needed, and talk to the guy who could tell them how to get past the obstacles keeping them from the Wind Mana stone (namely, a god statue blocking their way in a corridor, and an invading army holding the Wind Kingdom hostage. Yes, one of those DOES sound more important than the other, but it's really the god statue blocking our way that's the issue). So, next time we should get us a wind spirit, yay!

-->Posted the next "Scenes From Secundus" short -- the "Green" prompt from the Drabbles88, just in time for St. Patrick's Day! XD Didn't even plan that. . .

Okay, and now I have to get my VictorLuvsAlice queue sorted, then -- well, honestly, I'm probably going to just go straight to bed. I'm really tired and I definitely need my sleep if I am sick. Hopefully I WILL feel better tomorrow and can catch up on more stuff then. . . Night all!
