Recovered Sunday
Mar. 17th, 2019 11:32 pmMostly -- still a bit of soreness, but NOTHING like what it was yesterday when it woke me up. Admittedly, I did take some Nyquil last night, and then proceeded to sleep until 10:30 again (after going to bed around 1:15, meaning I got a good 9 hours this time), so that may have helped some. But I am feeling better, and still not like I have a cold in any other way, so hopefully whatever this is shoves off sooner rather than later.
Despite my late start, I got a fair amount of stuff done:
-->Caught up on all the YouTube videos I wanted to, including a 1 1/2 hour archived livestream of the OXBox team taking on the fifth elusive target in Hitman 2 (Jane failed after some issues with her disguise and finding out she was not bulletproof while hiding in boxes; Mike succeeded by basically killing everyone in the level; Andy succeeded by actually being careful and studying his target, but jeopardized the whole thing by being insistent on erasing the security camera tapes); Helloween taking on one of the "Ghost Survivors" in Resident Evil 2 REmake (Katherine, who was canonically killed and taxidermied by Chief Irons -- here she gets to murder HIM and make a mad dash across town to the police station to save her boyfriend, who also survives in this timeline (he's the guy Leon encounters in the jail and who gets his head crushed by Mr. X)); and the last part of The Sim Supply's StrangerVille LP (Holly defeats the Mother -- after, uh, remembering to cure HERSELF and some false starts in getting her team together -- and returns home with a new trait and a new display item. Still dirt poor and missing her original daughter, though -- James had to remind everyone he'd already tried everything he could think of to actually get her back).
-->Did another chunk on Chapter 17 of "Fixing You" -- got Victor past some bathroom awkwardness, and now he's going to apologize to Dr. Wilson. My boy is showing off his character growth, aw. :)
-->Played Sims 4 -- Chell, Wheatley, and Geeker had another busy day! Chell and Wheatley gathered the last evidence they needed, assembled their dossier, and got the keycard for the lower parts of the lab. And then I went ahead and got Wheatley possessed briefly, because he is exactly the kind of guy who would waltz right into a spore-filled hallway. XD Then I sent them home to celebrate Spookfest, which was going on -- but then the Humor and Hijinks festival happened, and I thought, you know what, why not? So they all went out there to celebrate, and Geeker managed to help the Pranksters get the win, earning himself a voodoo doll, some fireworks, and $500. Nice! And they all successfully completed the holiday too, so double nice. :) I also got all my pictures for the next Wednesday update sorted, so that's good. :)
-->Got my VictorLuvsAlice queue and Valice Multiverse queue sorted, and almost entirely emptied out my inbox, go me.
So yeah -- certainly can't complain about this Sunday. And now I have to hit the sheets. Another full week of work looms. . .unless my throat feels WORSE tomorrow, but we'll see. Night all!
