Another Decent Day At Work??

I did have to spend about the entire morning working on the GL, and I did run into some problems trying to look up a check, but for the most part pestering was kept to a minimum, and I was able to get on a whole bunch of gifts. There's of course always still more to do, but with my coworker having more or less handled the returns we had. . .yeah, it's actually been pretty productive in our office. I'll take it. AND I got a day off approved at the end of next week, so I'll take that too.

Evening has had a few ups and downs: my parents were all gung-ho to go for a walk outside -- until they actually GOT outside and realized it wasn't as warm as they thought it was; and the latest episode of the show we're watching, Alan Davies's As Yet Untitled, was rather sub-par. Fortunately, that was offset by a few nice things:

-->Had a good workout regardless -- been finding some fun new videos lately, which is good. A little variety keeps things fresh!

-->I did indeed finish Chapter 17 of "Fixing You" today! :D Just pushed right on through the final page and a bit. So yeah, that should be going up tomorrow night! (Though, as an early warning -- mildly NSFW. Nothing described in detail, but -- it does deal with Victor needing some alone time, let's say)

-->Watched The Sim Supply's latest "Super Sim" episode -- featuring more fun Sims glitchiness, and Max accidentally celebrity-cleansing away all his perk points because James forgot that's not how you get rid of quirks (though honestly, it should be -- why not leave the Sim with a TOTALLY clean slate?). Also, Max got another promotion, and can now finally star in a movie to complete his Acting aspiration. And he bought a diner in StrangerVille so James can have a foothold there to start THAT once Max is ready. XD (It's a cool-looking diner, though, gotta say. And the first one James chose, that just DIDN'T fit the location, was even cooler -- I noted the name so I could look for it on the Gallery later.)

-->Also watched Deli make a mock-pitch for a new pack to some of the SimGurus (in a Bob Pancakes bathrobe, suggesting things like plain white doors, basic counters, and Sims being able to eat the clay blobs (one of these things is not like the other. . .)); and Call Me Kevin's Sims Battle Royale (with the help of the Random Violence mod -- Shrek ended up being the last one standing, to Kevin's delight). Both freaking hilarious. XD

-->Got some new stuff in my drafts, and got my VLA queue sorted for the evening, yay~

And now it is the traditional time of emptying out the inbox! Just gonna keep hoping that this week stays the course. . .night all!
