crossover_chick: Doc in goggles and holding a big old plug with the words "feeling sparky..." (BTTF: feeling sparky/creative)
Mostly because neither me nor my coworker were being pulled onto lots and lots of other projects for a change, so we could actually tackle some of the things we've been meaning to tackle. I got a bunch of checks on, she handled some of the returns for me, I assisted with some batching. . . Got a little busier than I might have liked at the very end of the day (last-minute proofs), but I managed to get through it. Tomorrow's GL is gonna be a big one, though. *cracks knuckles* At least it'll make the morning go by.

Evening has been pretty solid too:

-->Got another chunk done on Chapter 17 of "Fixing You" -- and, uh, I MIGHT just finish this tomorrow. I'm a little over a page away from completing the chapter, and. . .well. We'll see what happens! I still have my emergency post to throw up if necessary. I also came up with an idea about what the very last short in the Forgotten Vows Verse in general should be -- Victor and Alice passing on and being reunited with all their loved ones, including -- at last -- Emily. :) AND I reorganized the verse on AO3 so it's now in the proper reading order (mainly moving two shorts taking place between "Finding You" and "Forgetting You" so they're -- between "Finding You" and "Forgetting You," and swapping "Imagine Me and You" and "Fixing You" so the latter comes before the former). So yeah, productive night on that end too!

-->Watched Helloween's latest set of Metro Exodus -- the gang managed to successfully escape the cannibal compound, and have now reached the "Mad Max" area of the game! Seriously -- there's raiders driving rusted-out cars in a desert, wrecks of various buildings (and BOATS -- apparently this area used to be under water?) everywhere, and a mysterious "Baron" ruling over the place, telling everyone to get their "combat slaves" ready. This is going to be interesting. . . Helloween's already fallen afoul of the very-well-camouflaged ghouls that stalk the area, as well as the wildlife. But he's picked up what looks to be a new triple-barrel shotgun, so I think he'll be fine. (Weirdly enough, I started feeling a little sick while watching the set -- I don't know if it was something about the video (Helloween mentioned his mouse sensitivity in-game was off, so maybe that was doing weird things to the camera), or if I just had some weirdly-timed indigestion -- I've burped a couple of times, so I'm feeling better. :p)

-->Also watched a couple of Kubz Scouts Yandere Simulator videos -- students now have more reasonable reactions to weapons that aren't obviously weapons, like scissors and dumbbells (which can be used to frame them), and there's a new "easter egg mode" called Life Note after the Death Note parody that's part of Yan-Chan's anime collection. Write down who you want to die, how they should die, and at what time, and watch as people randomly explode, get dismembered, or get electrocuted. Jay was loving it. XD

-->And got my Valice Multiverse queue sorted, so good for me there.

And now it's time to clear out the inbox again and head to bed. Fingers crossed tomorrow is another productive day! Night all!
