Shifting Paper Tuesday
Apr. 16th, 2019 11:21 pmIn the sense of us cleaning out a bunch of file cabinets and the back safe room of old paperwork. Lot of crap moved down to the basement for storage or shredding. The office has never looked so open. O.o And it certainly helped the day to go by. Always important during a short week. Hopefully tomorrow won't drag too much. . .
Evening's been pretty quiet -- I almost went out for a walk, but I got doing stuff online and it was a bit too windy (we've had a wind advisory all day), so I did one of my indoor workouts instead. Planning on getting out tomorrow, though -- supposed to be high 50s, and I'm planning on using a Subway gift card from one of my coworkers for lunch. Om nom nom~ So that'll be good.
On the writing side, I got the last of my Holistic Assassin!Alice AU snippets sorted! So that's something to be proud of. :) So that's two future Thursdays set on my tumblr, yay~ I figure I'll fiddle around with other AU snippets the rest of this week, then Easter I'll go ahead and start properly on "Secundus 2." Sounds like a good plan to me, anyway. And it'll give me a sense on what sort of things I might want to focus on on Saturdays, since I'm keeping those open for other projects. Though, given I have THREE Bloodlines 2-related videos in my Watch Later queue, I suspect Londerland Bloodlines is going to be getting a lot of love in the near future. . .
On the video side, we had one each from The Sim Supply and Helloween4545. First was James continuing work on Max's future dockside house -- as per popular request, he moved the living space out from next to the kitchen and into a separate room, and put the dining area in its place. Definitely makes the space feel much less cramped, even if he's constantly second-guessing what he wants to put in the new living room. Poor guy, he's having SUCH TROUBLE finding furniture he likes that also fits the aesthetic of the house, and figuring out what he wants to do with windows, and just -- everything. XD I think maybe the trouble is he's building this house before he puts Max inside it. Maybe if he had his Super Sim already there to add a personal touch to the place. . .
Second was Helloween replaying a bit more Dead Space 2, and getting killed a fair bit. XD Exploded by balloon animal, getting Isaac's arms cut off by a safety shutter after accidentally causing explosive decompression (right after mocking the designers of the Unitology space temple for putting a glass window there), getting Isaac's legs chopped off by a poorly-stasised door, and -- most ignominious of all -- FELLED BY THE SPACE TURKEY NECROMORPH. It was delightful. XD I mean, yes, he actually DID make progress through the creepy Unitology church and gave many fools Electric Javelin Death, but still. It's his reactions to his many deaths that make it -- he's got a great sense of humor about the whole thing. XD
And now that I've gotten my tumblr queues sorted for the night, it's time to clear out the inbox and hit the sheets. One more day to go. . .hopefully it'll be a decent one. Night all!
