crossover_chick: Victor on the ground with one hand up with the text "Nooo! Anything but the fangirls!" (CB: save Victor from the fangirls!)
But first, a quick note from hopping on Twitter to stop it telling me to check my notifications and spotting something from Helloween4545 on there -- apparently Deadly Premonition 2 is a thing now. O.O What is with janky games from the 2000s (Deadly Premonition was released in 2010) suddenly getting sequels?! Granted, DP2 is only coming out on the Nintendo Switch. . .but still, that's a trip!

Anyway -- yeah, somewhat more stressful day at work, mostly GL-related. Still not ENTIRELY solved, but I got one down to Fiscal, so it will have to do for the weekend. And then the afternoon was mostly trying to solve little problems. . .ah well, not the worst note for the week to end on. Made the day go by, at least! I was worried it would drag, being the first full Friday back and all -- guess a few problems are good in that regard!

And what's good for making an afternoon go by? Reading articles about the Sims 4 Realm of Magic livestream that happened today! Which, I am actually tempted to WATCH tomorrow. I don't usually, but this is the pack I have been WAITING for, and they've released a new gameplay trailer, and -- it looks cool. I just want to know all the things, and while the articles have been helpful -- there's 11 kinds of familiars, the Magic Realm may only have one "lot" but it has LOTS of places to visit with four floating islands, spells include teleportation, turning Sims into inanimate objects, and zapping them with lightning, Spellcaster Sims have a cool new needs panel that I sincerely hope can be modded, as I want my vampire Sims to have a cool-looking needs panel too -- just -- seeing it all in action is necessary, and I haven't found any proper reaction videos yet! Meeeh. . .

I did finally find my James Turner video on the stairs update, though! As in, he took full advantage of twisting and turning stairs to build himself a prototype mini-witch's tower! Turned out pretty well, if shockingly cramped. I mean, tiny house with most of the layout taken up by STAIRS, but still. I am genuinely impressed he managed to fit in everything he did -- and got it all to WORK. With a lot of fiddling/moving objects partially into walls, but still. XD And it was so adorable to see him get so hype about the stairs. :D Finally, that itch scratched!

I also watched:

-->A Sim Story by onlyabidoang (little snippets of his life recreated using The Sims 4) -- this one about the time he nearly drowned as a kid! Yeah, cheery, huh? It was at least made more amusing with the way he illustrated it -- all the goofy Sim poses and suchlike. XD

-->50 Secrets and Easter Eggs from The Sims 2 by the same guy -- nice little walk down memory lane. Remember when you could decorate neighborhoods? Those were the days. . .

-->And Call Me Kevin singing a cover of "Can't Help Falling In Love" while doing his best to play the ukulele, which was shockingly cute. Poor guy looked so nervous. . .but he has a better singing voice than he realizes. It was a very enjoyable cover! Even if he still needs to work on his uke skills. . .

And that after that I've been catching up on webcomics and tumblr tags and all that. Still need to get my Valice Multiverse queue done, though -- bit hard when one of my VLA tumblr friends is giving me recaps of the big plot events in "LA By Night," a RP done by the Geek and Sundry lot about LA in the modern nights (seems to be set after Bloodlines, but so far very little referencing the plot has actually come up -- then again, friend is still catching up on the series, so. . .). At least I have some time to get it done tonight, what with the Canobie trip moved to Sunday. Gonna look up what rides we didn't get to last time so we can do those first. Mom still wants to do the water rides, which I'm not so sure on since it's not supposed to be that hot. . .but then again part of the plan is to bring a change of clothes, sooo. . . *shrug* We'll figure it out! I'm gonna do my queue and hopefully not get to bed at ass o'clock in the morning. :p Night all!
