Somewhat Rushed Friday Night
Sep. 20th, 2019 11:39 pmMostly because I still have to figure out my Song Saturday post on tumblr and finish updating this thing so I can do some of the Friday Night Writing Thing before I have to go to bed by 1 so I can get up by 9 tomorrow for the corn maze/mini-golf/ice cream expedition. So, let's try to keep this quick:
-->Quiet day at work, fortunately -- my coworker and I got through a bunch of obituaries, so we're pretty much caught up on those, yay~
-->Nice weather, very summery after a cold start -- got in my two walks and am very happy about it
-->Got another good chunk done on "Secundus 2," going into the wind-down -- the group has caught Barkis, and Victor has managed to get over the whole "am I really a monster inside?" issue he's been struggling with periodically during the fic, yay~ Now they just have to deal with the mayor. . .
-->Watched a Fun With Shorts about cinematography (which claims that the director of photography is basically single-handedly responsible for a movie -- bit much to put on the guy, but okay), and three Call Me Kevin videos -- Bus Simulator 18 (in which Kevin has to fight the urge to run over pedestrians after too much time in Grand Theft Auto RPs; also rather than use signals he just shouts MERGING every time he pulls out), a Wii big game hunting game (I can't recall the name of it, but poor Kevin was suffering with the awkward Wii controls -- and his refusal to use the right in-game gun for the right game XD), and LEGO Harry Potter Year 1-4 (which is hilarious-adorable on its own, even WITHOUT Kevin squeeing over getting to play as Hagrid and making sure to wreck as much shit as possible for studs XD)
-->Got my Valice Multiverse queue done -- only three asks, but I've had queues that short before, and usually they're just random reblogs, so I'm not gonna worry about it.
Okay, have song in mind for tumblr post, have one last comment to answer -- time to hop on those and then get to the writing thing! Hopefully the corn maze outing will be fun. :D Night all!
