And It Starts Sliding Downhill Again
Sep. 19th, 2019 11:38 pmAwkward times at work with a big funeral going on for a bishop who died recently, and me managing to catch through a random spot check a donor we REALLY shouldn't be billing; my Dad has run into a major problem with a service he uses online and now has to get out the "you WILL refund me all this damn money" guns; and Mom's still having shitty days at her own job, but what else is new? *sigh* This Thursday has been kind of exhausting at times and I don't like it.
Fortunately, there have been some things I do like:
-->The weather actually did get nicer! Started off super-cold, but it had warmed up to about 70 by the afternoon, so I got in two walks again today. Nice to be able to do that while I still can.
-->I managed to get two pages done on "Secundus 2," finishing off the climatic chapter! Victor, Clara, and Jennifer all made it onto the Jules Verne train, and the runaway has spectacularly crashed into the ravine. Doc and Marty have agreed it's probably best if they move back to Secundus. XD Next up is the gang getting Barkis and confronting the mayor -- fun times!
-->James finally started his "Rags To Witches" Let's Play! Better yet, he's still doing Column's funny voice with his voice changer. XD Column's going to be a Potion Purveyor -- this episode centered around turning her into a spellcaster and learning some potions. And making mac and cheese in a cauldron. XD And turning Ticket into a familiar, though he hasn't done many familiary things yet. We'll see how it all goes!
-->Also watched a Plumbella video that I THOUGHT was about her building the house she recently moved into in Sims 4, and that did happen, but mostly it was about her talking about the dangers of bullying on social media and how it's personally affected her, and how she wants to do her own podcast or something to bring more light to the problem -- important stuff, just not what I was expecting; and a LilSimsie video ranting about how crap the Magic HQ in Realm of Magic is, talking about how it could have been improved with some tweaks, and showing off her own renovated version. Which, I gotta say, looks very good, I'm dutifully impressed.
-->And got my Valice Multiverse queue done and the stuff in my inbox answered, yay me.
So now, as always, it is time to go to bed. Just gotta get through Friday, and then I have three days off. . .hopefully no disasters will hit. *deep breath in, and out* Night all!
