Quietish Wednesday With Some Ups and Downs
Oct. 2nd, 2019 11:04 pmHaving some fun new problems with some gifts at work, but what else is new? At least most of the day I was able to just work on some database cleanup stuff for our processors. . .solving mysteries and cleaning up records is my jam, honestly. Keeps me from stressing out about other stuff. I also got a nice walk in at lunch, while it was still 80-so degrees. . .but then I had an annoyingly slow ride home because all it takes to jam up every road in this state is ten minutes of heavy rain (timed PERFECTLY to soak everyone as we left work). *sigh* Not my WORST ride home (I think that honor belongs to that one pre-Thanksgiving drive where the traffic was so heavy in every direction it took me just over an HOUR to get home), but not in the top ten, for damn sure.
Evening has been better (if chillier -- but then, I kind of like it colder for sleeping purposes, soo. . .):
-->Got in an exercise video, yay me -- I'm trying to get back into the habit of these for exercising now that it's "stay indoors after work" weather. Because soon enough it's going to be "can't take a lunchtime walk" weather too, and then I'll really need them. Gotta stay fit!
-->Wrote another page on "Secundus 2" -- Victor finished up his cute moment with Alice and his baby, only to have it interrupted by surprise Cheshire. XD At least this has led to the rest of the gang being admitted to see the newborn! Just a couple of pages to go now, with the final reveal of Chester's name to the gang, and why he's named that. :) Yay~
-->Had a Call Me Kevin Marathon that ended up weirdly themed around bears for the most part:
A) Tea Party Simulator, where Kevin failed frequently at holding tea parties with a sarcastic and insulting teddy bear in a variety of different locales, including space and a zombie apocalypse
B) Planet Zoo, where Kevin built the world's worst zoo -- see the bear and ostrich live together! See the bear kill the ostrich! See the bear get killed by a different kind of bear! See the new bear starve to death despite all of Kevin's attempts to get it to eat! See the protestors getting annoyed by all of this! XD
C) Naughty Bear, where Kevin had the time of his life playing an evil plushy bear going around tormenting and killing other plushy bears (seriously, it's -- it's a pretty grim game for that there's no actual blood and all the characters are soft-toy-looking bears).
D) Another episode of Untitled Goose Game, where Kevin gave up the bear life to be a horrible goose in a lovely English village, destroying the lives of two neighbors and getting up to no good in a pub XD
-->Also watched lilsimsie gush over a Sims 4 save file -- Plumbella's! Yeah, turns out they're pals, and lilsimsie wanted to give her friend a spot in the limelight on her channel. It was kind of cute, watching her get all excited over her pal's builds. :) I liked!
-->Got my tumblr queue set up for tomorrow, so I'm at least set for Thursday. Still have to come up with stuff to post for Friday and Saturday, though. . .I've got an inkling of what I want for my Song Saturday, but Friday. . .sometimes I think I write so much Forgotten Vows Verse fic just so I'll have something to talk about on my theme day! I'll figure out something, I'm sure. . .
Anyway, that's about it for now. Time to answer a thing and head to bed. I require the sleep. Two more days. . . Night all!
