crossover_chick: gif with Doc and Marty trying to get out of being written into twisted AUs (Default)
Not as bad as yesterday (a lot less angry people calling in, and actually solving/starting to solve some of the problems from yesterday), but still kind of annoying (getting asked to correct things that were already corrected, a traffic-laden ride home that got even longer because I had to stop for gas). At least lunch wasn't half-bad -- we went down to our usual restaurant, and I had a personal Parmesan Chicken pizza that -- was actually pretty good? Still greasier (and thus floppier) than I tend to like, but it tasted pretty nice, and filled me up. So I can't complain there. Best thing they serve is still their wings, but this'll do for lunches out and about with my coworkers.

Evening has been all right, for the most part:

-->Wrote some more on "Londerland Bloodlines" -- I have hit 30 pages, and I have finished the tutorial! w0000~ Though, uh, the chapter itself still isn't finished -- I want to have Alice replace her outfit (which was utterly DESTROYED by all this) and get her stuff from her old hotel room before ending the night. And I suspect this is going to be the SHORTEST chapter if I keep doing it like this. I hope I can maintain my enthusiasm for the project over the next decade. . .

-->Had a little CallMeKevin Marathon:

A) Police Simulator: Patrol Duty -- Kevin plays somewhat-glitchy police officer simulator, crashes car into multiple things, arrests people who look suspicious, and gets himself arrested for conduct unbecoming a police officer twice XD

B) Hitman: Blood Money -- Kevin plays more of an earlier Hitman game, kills many people in a ridiculous bird outfit, then infiltrates some rich guy's pad during Christmas and plays "how many people can I drag up and out of this elevator?" He also shoots out a Jacuzzi with a glass bottom and gets lost trying to find the right video tape to steal. Typical Kevin-47. :p

C) Scribblenauts Unlimited -- Kevin plays more of the game that allows him FAR TOO MUCH FREEDOM, and discovers that time travel is actually a thing in the game (it puts an "old-timey" sepia filter over the game if you use a time machine), as is making people edible. And fertile. So they create lots and lots of Maxwell clones. That can be turned into cannibals. Basically he has too much power in this timeline and must be stopped~

D) Superliminal -- Kevin plays a puzzle game about dreams, logic, and perception fuckery, in which you can take advantage of the fact that big things look small at a distance and small things look big close up to ACTUALLY CHANGE THE SIZES OF OBJECTS. Also other visual illusions that can create things you need, like a cube that's technically just paint on a bunch of different objects, but if you stand in just the right spot -- surprise, it's actually a box and you can use it. Kevin was -- a touch freaked out, for once. XD

-->Tumblr Queue Update: Again, the posts were a little off their intended times -- but there was no bunching, and only the two posts I intended to post today fired -- the third one, the first entry in my Song Saturday, stayed in the queue! So it seems like the problem is at least MOSTLY fixed? We'll see for sure tomorrow, as I have both Song Saturday posts (both remixes of songs, weirdly enough) and the first part of what will be my Sunday posts in the queue. Fingers crossed, everyone!

-->Got my Valice Multiverse queue sorted -- nothing too major -- and am now answering messages

And now I just have to take care of a few things in my inbox, and see about the Friday Night Writing Thing. Tomorrow -- cleaning room, Bloodlines (have to finish up the Hollywood stuff!), and the two episodes of Atop the Fourth Wall I have yet to watch. All other activities to be determined later. :p Night all!
