Less Painful Friday

I've still had a moment or two, but whatever was plaguing me yesterday, sinus-wise, seems to have largely fucked off today, and I am glad. *nods* Work day itself was a mix of plowing through some obituaries and dealing with a multitude of little problems -- nothing too out of the ordinary. And the ride home was trafficky, but could have been much worse, so -- *shrug* I'll take it, for a Friday.

Evening's been pretty solid, I must say:

-->Wrote not one, but TWO gift fic rough drafts! Granted, one's rather SHORTER than the other, but that's all right. :p So now I'm feeling ahead of the game in that respect. Gonna be doing more of these over the weekend, then next weekend I'll start refining and prepping to post on Christmas. Hopefully everyone likes what they get!

-->Watched two Call Me Kevin videos -- another round in Bitlife, where he attempted to live the life of Jim Pickens (BitJim did a lot of robbing houses and escaping prison, but never successfully killed anyone, in stark contrast to SimJim -- also, BitJim died young from TB), and a look at a new game, Little Misfortune (which is one of those games with SUPER DARK HUMOR, featuring a child named Misfortune who goes on a ~magical adventure~ that involves a lot of dead birds, a puppy being carried away by seagulls, encountering a guy who's HANGED HIMSELF, weird creepy masked people. . .it's just -- it's a game for a VERY PARTICULAR audience. Kevin loved it. XD). I also read his TV Tropes page, just because :D (his "funny moments" page has subcategories for a couple of his games, as is only right and proper -- though cripes, his Scribblenauts Unlimited stuff should DEFINITELY be on there)

-->Watched two GrayStillPlays videos (and read HIS, rather shorter, TV Tropes page as well) -- Simulives, where he turned another unfortunate into a disaster mother named #killme :( (yes, that was her ACTUAL NAME, complete with smilie -- also, these weird-ass games where you can get loads of plastic surgery, play the lottery with an autoclicker until you win big multiple times, and adopt a terrifying amount of children -- not to mention become a retired prostitute -- make a lot more sense when I realize they're Bitlife clones just ramping up the weird factor a bit on the original game), and OMG, where he spent his time once again sending people into Heaven and Hell at his whim (this is one of the goofiest versions of this game seen yet, with stuff like "caught a bullet with his teeth to save a kitten," "punches sharks to save children," "has an out-of proportion big little toe," and "eats food daily" are things for and against the people lining up for eternal judgement. Gray was quite amused).

And now I just have to answer the stuff in my inbox before moving onto the Friday Night Writing Thing, as I do. Tomorrow -- well, tomorrow is a cleaning Saturday, and Mom said something about getting outdoor decorations, so I'm probably gonna be pretty busy. But I am determined to:

A) Get at least one more gift fic draft done

B) Play some Fallout 4 (I got me an alien to find)

C) Watch the two OXBox/OXtra videos sitting in my queue (also, XMas Challenge time should be starting up soon! :D)

So yeah, that's the to-do list for tomorrow. Fingers crossed I can check them all off! Night all!
