crossover_chick: Doc snoozing on his couch (BTTF: exhausted)
I didn't expect it to be, but with one of my coworkers going to an eye appointment for her glasses, and the phone suddenly ringing off the hook around noon, and that plus people lingering in the kitchen leading to me not even getting anywhere NEAR my lunch until about one. . .and then some sort of mess regarding a merge that I thought I had thoroughly researched but I guess not? I don't know, I was just. . . I think I was doing okay until the lunchtime thing? Being hungry never does my mood any favors. . .

Well, I think you all know pretty well by this point I hate my job, so let's instead go over the nightly to-do list:

1. Keep up with YouTube Subscriptions: Check, though only the two actually in my Subscriptions tonight – once again, got a late start on the videos (this time thanks to a combination of doing some puzzle with my mom after supper and getting caught up in my writing). But hey, I’m keeping up!

A) Started with a big long speed-build from James of an ocean-front house he built on the Windenburg island, based on some images he found – somewhere (he couldn’t remember, though the comments suggested they came from his Discord). It’s a very contemporary, blocky house with plenty of big windows and fun with platforms. And fun with disappearing objects, as James found out. XD Apparently the theater room doesn’t want Sims to actually go down the stairs, so it keeps removing them. But yeah, it was a fun little build with him playing around with levels and suchlike – he even sunk a bed into a platform based on something he himself saw out in the wild, complete with platform side tables! And apparently it’s still usable, which is cool. :D And it was funny to listen to him go on and on about how difficult it would be to build a house like that on the island, because you’ve got the one little jetty in the distance for access. XD He obsesses about the strangest things in this game. . .then again, bitch, me too, the fuck. :p

B) And Call Me Kevin had more Chaos Mod – in Skyrim! With Twitch Chat! Yeah, apparently there’s a version that will work in Skyrim and let the people watching a stream give your character things, spawn creatures, and put different effects on the player. Kevin’s audience promptly became obsessed with giving Kevin’s orc apples and spawning in horses. XD Kevin actually had to turn off the mod for a little bit because everyone was breaking the game so badly he couldn’t get past the TUTORIAL. (I mean, Bethesda game too, but. . .) The chaos was actually useful at some points, though – his massive amount of apples meant that he could always save himself from dying by eating five million, and he was able to weaponize the horses in a few fights by getting the audience to spawn in tons to fight his enemies. XD Stream ended on a frozen plain with a bunch of horses, having just killed a pair of giants, floating off into the sky – Kevin was impressed and said he’d buy the image on one of those metal posters he occasionally shills. Oookay then. XD

2. Work on “Londerland Bloodlines”: Check – Alice has gotten into the apartment block, and met Fish, her eventual sire and all-around asshole. Time for some fun description about how trashy the apartment is. . .then the tough part, since, uh, Alice does not have a quiet and willing Embrace. . .

3.Get in a workout: No check today, thanks to the aforementioned rough day at work. I just – I got into reading a bit of TV Tropes about Taskmaster and before I knew it, it was six and I had to take my shower.

So, two out of three, and I'm already allowing myself one or two days off a week for the workout anyway, so it's no big deal. Hopefully I can get back on the bike or treadmill tomorrow. Hopefully tomorrow's just a better day. I mean, it has a point in its favor just from being Friday, but. . .we'll see. Night all.
